Global architecture, engineering and interior design firm, HLW International, has announced a leadership succession plan aimed at sustaining the longevity of the firm brand.
The company’s leadership team includes Susan Boyle, John Gering and Pat Kinzler. To achieve its ambitious plan, new leaders have been appointed in all HLW offices.
“We believe the best thing leaders can do for their organization is to identify future leaders and put a plan in place that will support and mentor their growth,” said Susan Boyle.
Added John Gering, “We see this transition plan as an opportunity to further sustain our organization which has been doing great work for over 125 years.”
Rhonda Curliss, based in the company’s London office, has been appointed Global Marketing and Communications Director and is working closely with the leadership team.
She has begun to rebuild HLW’s global client relationship and communications team by adding senior level executives in New York, Los Angeles, and London.
Meredith Lovejoy is director of communications for the New York Office. Lovejoy is responsible for leading the marketing team as well as implementing branding, business development and media strategies.
Melani Atkinson is the new director of client relations responsible for leading the business development team and maintaining client relationships in HLW’s Los Angeles office.
Nick Winter is now director of client Rrelations responsible for leading the business development team and maintaining client relationships in London.

In New York, Jennifer Brayer is the partner-in-charge of the office. Brayer is responsible for the day-to-day operations of the firm’s largest office.
Working with with her in each of practice area is a team of principals including Kim Sacramone as the leader of work place strategy and interior architecture practice; Christian Giordano leading the architectural design practice and Joseph Calabrese leading MEP Engineering practice.
In Shanghai, Scott Springer is the managing director responsible for overall leadership and strategy. Springer works closely with Jiayi Huang, director of the office responsible for the day-to-day operations. Louise Sharp was also recently promoted to principal responsible for the interiors practice in the region.
In Los Angeles, Bita Salamat was promoted to principal, interior architecture and, in London, Bronte Turner has been promoted to managing director, Jason Turner has joined as director and principal, and Adam Strudwick has joined as design director.
