Have You Heard: R New York to host poker tournament

Table Rock House, the 40-acre Rockland County estate that once belonged to William Pierson Hamilton, the great-grandson of Alexander Hamilton, is now on the market for $22 million.

Donna Licata, an associate broker at Rand Commercial, said the 40,000 s/f mansion has 52 rooms, most with fireplaces, an elaborately-sculptured plaster ceiling and enclosed porch offering ‟breathtaking views” of Sheppard’s Pond.

She said the four-story house is “an ideal setting for meetings, retreats, events and entertaining.”

The house is a 39-mile drive from New York City near the Village of Sloatsburg at the foot of the Ramapo Mountains.

The Hudson Gateway Association of Realtors will hold its 102nd Annual Member Appreciation Day on October 29 at the DoubleTree Hotel in Tarrytown.

Over 1,100 Realtors from Westchester, Putnam, Rockland, and Orange counties, as well as the Bronx and Manhattan are expected to attend the full-day event.

With a theme of “Rock Star Selling,” Members Day will include free classes and workshops, a plated luncheon with guest speaker, the annual meeting, a trade show with 70 exhibitors and a keynote address with Ryan Estis, the former chief strategy officer for McCann Worldgroup advertising agency and published expert.

Proceeds will benefit RPAC, the Realtors Political Action Committee.

R New York (formerly Charles Rutenberg LLC) will host its first annual Charity Poker Tournament to benefit the Wounded Warrior Project this month.

The winner will get a front row seat at the 2019 World Series of Poker Main Event in Las Vegas.

The Wounded Warrior Project is a charity and veterans service organization which offers a variety of programs, services and events for wounded veterans of the military actions following September 11, 2001.

R New York’s poker tournament will feature 10 tables of 10 players each with a $250 buy in. Every player in the final table of 10 will receive a prize, with the winner heading to Vegas.

The tournament will take place on October 24, from 7:00-11:00 p.m. at the 3 West Club (3 West 51st Street) in New York City.
