Gettry Marcus announces merger with JM CPA

Gettry Marcus CPA, P.C. announced that it has merged with JM CPA LLP, a full service New York City accounting firm.

The combined firm will operate under the Gettry Marcus name.

Gettry Marcus welcomes three new partners from JM: Alan M. Willinger, CPA, JD; Steven J. Eller, CPA, JD and Steve Bibas, CPA, along with JM staff.

They will continue to provide services to their existing clients as well as Gettry Marcus clients, and will be based out of the firm’s New York City office at 1407 Broadway.

With this merger, Gettry Marcus will now serve clients internationally through membership in the MSI Global Alliance, a leading international association of independent legal and accounting firms.

“We are excited about the positive benefits this merger will provide our clients and firm. Our staff will enjoy greater professional and personal development opportunities with a larger organization,” said Alan Willinger, former managing partner of JM and new partner at Gettry Marcus.

“The firm’s expansive service offerings will also allow us to add more value to our clients as their organizational needs continue to grow.”

“This merger allows us to leverage our combined expertise to provide a wider range of services as well as further increase our NYC presence,” said Steven L. Marcus, managing partner of Gettry Marcus. “We will work together as one firm to bring value to our clients, employees and community.”
