Emerald Creek kicks in $12M for Staten Island buy

Emerald Creek Capital provided $12,000,000 of acquisition financing secured by an eleven-story mixed-use building in the St. George neighborhood of Staten Island, NY.

The property is comprised of 24 two-bedroom residences, 16 one-bedroom residences, and three grade level commercial spaces.

Each apartment has a private terrace, many with unobstructed views of the Manhattan skyline, hardwood floors and stainless-steel appliances. The luxury building includes amenities such as a fitness center, roof deck, and parking.

St George is a historic town along the New York Harbor known for its Victorian homes, eclectic restaurants, and vibrant artistic community. The property is located a short walk to the Staten Island Ferry with access to Lower Manhattan.

The 12-month loan is currently one of four transactions funded by Emerald Creek Capital this January. Financing was originated by managing director Jeff Seidler, and arranged by The Cornerstone Group of NY.
