Eastern Union finds finance package for search firm’s acquisition

Eastern Union Funding’s Abraham Bergman and Yossi Orzel arranged a $11.2 million acquisition loan from Bank of America for the $12.8 million purchase of a 13,998 s/f office condominium at 20 West 33rd Street.

Glocap Search LLC, an executive search, purchased the entire seventh floor of the 13-story office building.

The vacant space allows for the build out of the firm’s new headquarters specific to its needs, and accommodates its growth requirements. The relocation is an expansion from its current HQ in Midtown Manhattan.

“This is a smart investment for the firm,” said Bergman. “Office condominium purchases provide property owners with tax breaks along with booking future appreciation in the underlying real estate.”
