Douglas Elliman’s retail group brings women’s care facility to Harlem

Faith Hope Consolo, Chairman, and Joseph Aquino, Executive Vice President, along with Arthur Maglio of Douglas Elliman’s Retail Group have arranged a long-term lease for Trinity Women’s Care at 1845 Adam Clayton Powell Jr. Boulevard, culminating the leasing of three medical office suites in the revitalized prewar residential condominium, located between 112th and 113th Streets and near Central Park.

Headed by Dr. Candice Fraser, M.D., Trinity Women’s Care is part of the MBA HealthGroup and will focus on obstetrics, gynecology, pre-natal care and more.
The other professional tenants brought to the building by Ms. Consolo, Mr. Aquino and Mr. Maglio include Open Bright Pediatric Dentistry and Central Park North Orthodontics.

“Our goal, historically, has been to bring value to the neighborhoods in which we place tenants,” points out Ms. Consolo. “This area was once underserved by contemporary medical and dental practices, which we have helped alleviate.”

Adds Mr. Maglio, “Although this is a new practice, it is part of a healthcare network with more than 25 years of experience. This is an area with a large female population, so there is an absolute need for the kinds of services that Trinity Women’s Care will deliver.”

In addition to the three leases at the building, Douglas Elliman’s Retail Group has been responsible for bringing a host of diverse service- and community-based organizations to Harlem and Upper Manhattan, including the U.S. Department of Veterans Affairs, Internal Revenue Service, Children’s Aid Society, Ralph Lauren Center for Cancer Care and Prevention, Friends of the Children, Sugar Hill Medical Plaza, Sunshine Day Care and Tribeca Pediatrics.
Other retailers for whom the group has arranged leases recently, include Pa-paya Seed, Harlem Wine Gallery, Ottomanelli Brothers, City Cookhouse and Maharajah Palace Restaurant.

Ms. Consolo, Mr. Aquino and Mr. Maglio represented the landlord, Tahl Propp Equities for the transaction.
The tenant worked with Masserano Real Estate and Consulting.
