DONE DEALS: Harlem block buster

Corcoran’s David Daniels has closed on the $3 million sale of a renovated Harlem townhouse at 109 West 132nd Street, a record price for the block and the West 130s.

“Over the last three years, West 132nd Street has been one of the busiest blocks in Harlem with 15 houses sold, many renovated and then resold by developers with the help of brokers and designers,” said Daniels, who also brokered a $2.95 million sale on the same block in 2014.

It took him just three weeks to sell 109, a 15 ft. wide, 2,880 s/f property that was gutted by Long Island-based Blue Rock Capital Management after they picked it up for $500,000 in 2014.

Blue Rock hired designer Virginie Feder, of Atelier Feder, to design the townhouse interior with “urban panache combined with the interior feeling of a private suburban home,” said Daniels, who developed the floor plan and assisted with the overall design and selecting finishes and furnishings.

The four-story building was reconfigured to create a four-story three bedroom home and a duplex one bedroom for guests or rent.

MaryLou Currier of Bond repped the buyers.
