Cushman & Wakefield has been appointed exclusive leasing agent for the retail space at 2 Herald Square.

Located in the heart of Manhattan’s largest shopping district, 2 Herald Square has 60,500 s/f of available space spread among three floors.
The space has a 75 foot storefront right across from the World’s Largest Department Store, Macy’s, and neighbors including H&M’s new Herald Square flagship, The Gap, and Victoria’s Secret’s international flagship.
David A. Green, Steven Soutendijk and Brad Mendelson of Cushman & Wakefield are the retail agents for the building, owned by Sitt Asset Management.
“We are thrilled to have the opportunity to market this tremendous space,” said David A. Green, vice chairman of Cushman & Wakefield.

“Located in one of the most trafficked areas of Manhattan – peak hourly volumes exceed 6,000 pedestrians per hour – and with unique branding opportunities such as the Macy’s Thanksgiving Day Parade, 2 Herald Square is an ideal flagship location for any brand looking for a prominent New York City presence.”
2 Herald Square is fully-built, with all vertical transportation in place, including escalators and elevators. The building features 18’ slab to slab ceiling heights on the ground floor.
In addition to the area’s high pedestrian foot count, Herald Square touts the third busiest subway station in New York City, with 39 million travelers passing through per year. 2 Herald is also close to Penn Station, which receives over 600,000 passengers daily.
Also known as the Marbridge Building and 1328 Broadway, 2 Herald sits on the Northeast corner of 34th Street and Broadway. With three self-contained office lobbies and multiple elevator banks, 2 Herald offers a “building within a building” experience.
The available retail space also benefits from easy access to the building’s loading dock on 35th Street.
