Cushman & Wakefield announced a rare, full-building headquarters and branding opportunity that is strategically located between Times Square and Columbus Circle.
C&K Properties has appointed Cushman & Wakefield brokerage professionals Stuart Romanoff, Jonathan Luttwak and Ross Eisenberg, along with Myles Fennon of the firm’s Strategic Agency Services group as leasing agents for 1710 Broadway, a 60,000-square-foot, six-floor office building located on the northeast corner of 54th Street. The building will be available in 2014.
The property is zoned with Times Square signage rights and includes 130 feet of frontage on Broadway, as well as potential for a tenant to have access to the roof for private outdoor space.
“1710 Broadway is an ideal headquarters building for a mid-sized tenant seeking its own identity in one of Manhattan’s most exciting neighborhoods,” said Mr. Romanoff, a Cushman & Wakefield Vice Chairman. “The building offers immense exposure and is surrounded by new development, while conveniently located near public transportation.
Three new developments are under construction on the same block as 1710 Broadway – Boston Properties’ one-million-square-foot office tower and new Marriott and Hilton hotels.
Owner C&K Properties, who acquired the property in 2003, has planned a significant capital improvement project that includes a renovated lobby, upgraded elevator mechanicals, renovated cabs, new HVAC and electrical service and an improved façade. The 10,000-square-foot floor plates include 12 to 14-foot ceiling heights.
Built in 1917, 1710 Broadway was originally built as the New York headquarters and showroom for the Ford Motors Company.
