The Durst Organization announced that Chubb signed an eight year lease for an additional 45,910 s/f on the 11th and 35th floors of 1133 Avenue of the Americas.
The Chubb Corporation was acquired by ACE Limited earlier this year. ACE has been a tenant at 1133 Avenue of the Americas since 1998. Chubb now occupies 184,000 s/f in the building.
“We are thrilled Chubb has expanded their footprint at 1133 Avenue of the America,” said Jonathan (Jody) Durst, president of The Durst Organization. “We look forward to many pro ductive years of partnership with Chubb at 1133.” Chubb was represented by international director Martin Horner and global senior account manager Pam Klyn of JLL.
The Durst Organization was represented in-house by senior vice president of Leasing Tom Bow and Vice President Rocco Romeo.
Chubb is the world’s largest publicly traded property and casualty insurer, with operations in 54 countries.
