Caviar Bar gets a taste for more space

Eastern Consolidated’s Retail Leasing Division has enabled a successful Plaza Hotel luxury caviar boutique and bar, Olma Caviar

Bar, to open a second location on the Upper West Side by arranging a long-term, 1,200 s/f lease for Olma at 420 Amsterdam Avenue.

The ownership, Amsterdam Partners, was represented by James Famularo, senior director of the retail leasing division for Eastern Consolidated, while Olma Caviar Bar was represented by Eastern director Ravi Idnani.

“Olma Caviar Bar’s first location in The Plaza Hotel’s Food Hall has built a strong customer base and has been so successful that its principals sought to expand,” Idnani said.

“Olma’s principals were drawn to this corner location at Amsterdam Avenue and West 80th Street because it has a similar demographic to the patrons the establishment attracts at the Plaza Hotel.”

Founded in 2001, Olma is based in Brooklyn, NY.
