Two Trees Management announced its first commercial office lease at Ten Grand Street, with beauty brand Prose.
In February 2020, Prose will move its office of 47 employees from SoHo to the Williamsburg waterfront and take over 12,000 s/f across the entire 8th and 9th floors.
“Prose is exactly the type of tenant we had in mind for this special building and this lease is another clear signal that Brooklyn is thriving as a live-work borough,” said Jed Walentas, Principal of Two Trees Management.
“We expect more companies that value top-line space, jaw-dropping views and a mixed-use community for its employees, to continue to take space along the Williamsburg waterfront.”
“Our new office space at Ten Grand Street reflects our incredible talent at its core – creative and one-of-a-kind – and will further accelerate our business as a leading custom beauty brand,” said Arnaud Plas, co-founder & CEO of Prose.
Launched online in 2017, Prose is a direct-to-consumer beauty brand focused on customized hair care products.
Completed in fall 2019, Ten Grand Street is the first commercial building at the Domino Sugar Factory site, featuring 5,000 to 6,000 s/f floor plates with 360-degree views of the Manhattan and Brooklyn skylines.
Bordering Domino Park on the corner of Kent Avenue and Grand Street, Ten Grand Street interlocks with One South First, Two Trees’ second residential property on the Domino site which opened in September 2019.
Designed by COOKFOX Architects, Ten Grand Street offers a range of amenities including a 45-seat theater, several lounges and conference rooms, rooftop cabanas, fitness facilities, and a large bike lobby.
Ten Grand Street and One South First will feature several Brooklyn-based retailers including Roberta’s, Other Half Brewing Co., Oddfellows Ice Cream and Two Hands Café.
Dan Conlon, Morghan Pangraze, and Elizabeth Bueno represented Two Trees in-house, and Marcus Rayner and Sam Einhorn at Colliers International represented Prose.
