SL Green Realty Corp announced that Ackman Ziff Real Estate Group has signed a new 10+ year headquarters lease covering 19,025 s/f for the entire 11th floor at 711 Third Avenue, the 20-story, 500,000 s/f tower located one block from Grand Central Terminal.
Ackman Ziff will be relocating from SL Green’s 110 E. 42nd Street where they currently lease smaller space on the entire 10th floor.
“We were very pleased to accommodate Ackman Ziff’s need for larger space and a new work environment by relocating them within our portfolio,” said Steven Durels, executive vice president, director of leasing and real property for SL Green.
Known for its distinctive lobby featuring Hans Hofman’s stunning mosaic, a lobby centerpiece, 711 Third Avenue has been recently upgraded with a new lobby, new bathrooms and new elevator cabs. Included in the prestigious tenant roster are McKinsey & Company, Niche Media, Ricoh Corp. and Taylor & Francis Group LLC.
Howard J. Tenenbaum and Gary M. Rosen, acting in-house on behalf of the landlord, arranged the transaction.
