The CPEX New York Retail Leasing Team announced the completion of a lease agreement at One Brooklyn Bridge with Abhaya Yoga.
The yoga studio is the fourth tenant to sign a lease at this location, with more announcements expected soon to name other retail tenants coming to One Brooklyn Bridge as Brooklyn Bridge Park nears completion.
The park’s marina, variety of athletic fields on the piers, and the arrival of retailers like popular Smorgasburg vendors and Ample Hills Creamery are attracting retail tenants to this stretch of Brooklyn waterfront.
The lease with Abhaya Yoga is for approximately 4,500 s/f of ground floor commercial space at the base of 438 luxury residential units at One Brooklyn Bridge, which is located at 360 Furman Street in Brooklyn Heights and adjacent to Brooklyn Bridge Park.
CPEX’s Retail Leasing Team, consisting of Managing Director Ryan Condren and Associate Director George Danut, represented the landlord in the lease transaction. The incoming tenant, Abhaya Yoga, is relocating from DUMBO to a larger space.
“It has been exciting to see how the level of interest in the retail space at One Brooklyn Bridge has risen along with the construction on the piers,” said Condren.
“As the park is nearing completion, we are looking forward to seeing this project get closer to being fully occupied. To that end, we plan to make another round of announcements in the next month or so.”
The CPEX New York Retail Leasing Team continues to market the remaining retail space at One Brooklyn Bridge, which offers approximately 50,000 s/f of available ground floor retail space.
