WHO’S NEWS: New COO at Daniel Gale Sotheby’s; Elliman hires luxury creative director


Daniel Gale Sotheby’s International Realty has named Deborah Hauser as its Chief Operating Officer.
Longtime COO Tom Calabrese will be assuming a Senior Executive Advisor role. Hauser began her real estate career in 2002 as a sales associate in the Cold Spring Harbor office, earning a place in the Gold Circle of Excellence and becoming a perennial top producing real estate advisor.
She was instrumental in developing a coaching and mentoring program and, in 2011, was named Sales Manager in Cold Spring Harbor. In 2014, she assumed regional sales oversight.
Prior to joining DGSIR, Hauser managed a team of Wall Street retail brokers and operated two popular Long Island restaurants.
Douglas Elliman Real Estate announced that Amy Rosenfeld has joined the firm as Vice President of Creative.
In this leadership role, Rosenfeld will develop the firm’s strategic aesthetic at the national level, advance and integrate new technologies in the digital space, and manage the day-to-day functions of the creative department.
Previously, Rosenfeld worked as a freelance creative director with LVMH and as creative director with Victoria’s Secret. her experience includes content, branding and marketing positions with Conde Nast, Time Inc. and ABP Media.
She brings a experience in a diverse range of categories, including fashion, beauty, lifestyle, hospitality, travel, home and interior design, food, celebrity, sport, and business.
She will be based out of Elliman’s New York City headquarters at 575 Madison Avenue, reporting directly to President and COO Scott Durkin.
Stribling & Associates announced that David Chang has joined the firm.
With a background in both resales and new development marketing across Manhattan and Brooklyn, Chang has facilitated more than $800 million in sales over the span of his real estate career.
He will be based out of Stribling’s Tribeca office, where he will partner with Millie Perry. In addition to his resale business, Chang will work with Stribling Marketing Associates on several pipeline new development projects.


Chang was previously ranked in the top one percent of all NRT sales professionals nationwide while at Corcoran. He was also a member of Corcoran’s President’s Council.
Prior to his work at Corcoran, Chang worked at Corcoran Sunshine with the city’s most active and prominent real estate developers.
Douglas Elliman Development Marketing announced that Lisa Schwert has joined the firm as Senior Vice President of Planning and Design.
She will oversee the Planning and Design Department to provide leadership in the pre-development of residential and mixed-use new developments.
Schwert joins the firm after a 13-year tenure at SHoP Architects.
She has spearheaded projects including Nassau Coliseum in Long Island, the Domino Sugar Redevelopment Master Plan in Brooklyn and Barclays Center Urban Experience in Brooklyn.
As an Associate Principal at SHoP Architects, she was a senior member of the leadership team in setting the strategic direction of the company and overseeing master planning and mixed-use developments all over the world.
Schwert received a Masters of Architecture from University of Pennsylvania and is a licensed Architect in New York State.
The Kerr Team has joined Corcoran’s 660 Madison Avenue office from Halstead.
Upper East Side father and son, William “Woody” and William “Will” Kerr formed The Kerr Team in 2015 when Woody Kerr joined Halstead following a 33 year career at BNY Mellon in New York and London.
When Woody joined Halstead, Will was already an experienced agent having started his real estate career immediately after his 2012 graduation from Hamilton College. Since then, the Kerrs have built a successful business, which has included their 2017 sale of Greta Garbo’s apartment in the Campanile on East 52nd Street.
Will Kerr attended St. Bernard’s before going on to The Hill School in Pottstown, Pa. Woody is a graduate of Deerfield Academy and Hamilton College.
Douglas Elliman Real Estate has welcomed back returning agent Gioia DiPaolo. The associate broker, who has been consistently ranked as one of the Hamptons’ top agents, returns following a stint with Sotheby’s International Real Estate.


She has more than two decades of luxury real estate experience, both as a broker and as a manager. She began her real estate career with Cook Pony Farm Real Estate which was later was bought by The Corcoran Group
A former fashion designer and manufacturer, she attended The University of Pennsylvania.
BOND New York announced the hiring of Fanny Montalvo as Managing Director of the firm’s Chelsea and Union Square offices.
Montalvo has 14 years of experience in the real estate industry. She was most recently the Managing Broker of Record at Keller Williams NYC (Midtown), managing up to 700 agents for the last four years. Earlier, she was the Managing Sales Director at AC Lawrence Bellmarc Coldwell Banker.
She started her career in real estate at Fenwick Keats Realty in 2005 after being the owner and president of her own executive search firm which serviced Wall Street clients in trading floor technology recruitment of senior positions.
Montalvo earned a BS in Political Science from CUNY Baruch College.
Warburg Realty announced that Tania Isacoff Friedland has joined the company.
Friedland has completed real estate sales exceeding $1 billion over the course of her nine-year career.
She previously worked for many years on an award-winning team at Brown Harris Stevens.
She will join the company’s flagship office at 654 Madison Avenue on the Upper East Side.
Friedland attended The Chapin School before moving to the Main Line of Philadelphia. She subsequently graduated from The Baldwin School and returned to New York to study Art History at Columbia University.
Leading Real Estate Companies of the World (LeadingRE) announced that Kate Reisinger has been named Executive Vice President, Member Services.
She will manage membership services for the global network of 565 independent real estate firms.R
Reisinger is a seasoned real estate and relocation professional with more 13 years of experience.
Most recently, she was Regional Director, Relocation and Client Development for Coldwell Baker Residential, where she managed the relocation and e-commerce division. Other experience includes serving as Vice President and Director of Relocation Services for Prudential Rubeloff and as a Regional Director of Business Development for WHR Group.
Reisinger is honors graduate of Marquette University.
