Who’s news: New agents at Corcoran, Brown Harris Stevens and Fenwick Keats

Brown Harris Stevens, the exclusive affiliate of Christie’s International Real Estate, announced that Susan Silverman has joined the firm’s Upper West Side office as a licensed associate real estate broker.

Silverman began her 15-year real estate career working for an independent broker until merging her growing business with Warburg Realty.

She has earned herself an outstanding reputation for implementing marketing techniques that effectively sell traditional and estate properties.

Her extensive experience includes many multi-million dollar deals including a $13.5 million sale on Central Park West.

Prior to forging a career in real estate, Silverman spent 10 years in the retail fashion business as the director of merchandising for Calvin Klein Lingerie.

The Corcoran Group announced Antonia Watson and her team have joined the firm’s East Side office.

Watson moves to Corcoran after two-and-a-half years with Keller Williams.

Recognized as one of the top performing agents of the Keller Williams Manhattan office, Watson was the recipient of the Keller Williams 2014 Top Manhattan Listing Agent award.

A graduate of Rutgers University, she began her real estate career in her family’s New Jersey residential real estate business following a career as a professional ballet dancer with internationally recognized dance companies including the Joffrey Ballet, Alvin Ailey Dance Theater and the American Repertory Ballet, among others.

FENWICK KEATS Real Estate has signed Debra Pinto, a former agent at boutique firm Wohlfarth & Associates.

In a career move designed to expand her business, Pinto departs Wohlfarth & Associates where she got her start in residential real estate and spent the past six years working with Rick Wohlfarth.

Pinto is a Certified Staging Professional and studied at New York School of Interior Design and at University of California  Berkeley.

She has worked on several residential design projects on both coasts.

A former television writer, producer, and director for HBO, as well as co-founder of the production company, Airmasters Entertainment, Pinto sits on the board of The Players Club, a 125 year old theatrical association.

Chris Raveis, managing partner of New York for William Raveis Real Estate, Mortgage & Insurance, announced the firm’s newest sales associate additions.

Since January, the firm has added 28 licensed sales associates to their Westchester County offices, who have a total of $112.5 million in annual sales volume.

In Yorktown, Raveis has added Michele Rowell, Carol Harman and Susan Mirwis; Lisa Berliner in Katonah; Pam Eskind in Irvington; and Joanne Milch in Chappaqua.

New associates in Armonk include Stacee A Lieberman-Massoni, Claudia Costa, Lisa Koh, Lauren Goldenberg, Angela Schuler, Jeanne Looney, Olga Chama, Stacy Miller, Diane Freedman, Stacey Sporn, Carol Berkowitz Beck, Robyn Eckhaus, John Scialdone and Kristen Basil.

Raveis has also brought on Felicia Frey, Janey Varvara, Stephanie Dowicz, Lorraine Landau, Susan Slotnick, Lisa Klein, Angela Manson and Jessica Anfang to lead the firm’s new Scarsdale office, which is slated to open this summer, along with an additional location in Somers.

Douglas Elliman Real Estate announced that Richard Steinberg has joined the firm.

Steinberg is one of New York’s most successful and prominent brokers, grossing over $100 million in sales yearly. He joins Elliman from Warburg Realty.

In addition to his extensive real estate knowledge, Steinberg has homes in Florida, Aspen, and the Hamptons, and will be working in these markets.

Steinberg has brought over multiple exclusive listings including the ten deluxe suites at the Plaza Athénée and a $15 million listing at 944 Park Avenue. In his first week alone at Douglas Elliman he has brought in approximately $145M of additional exclusives.

Over the course of his career Steinberg has successfully brokered sales in virtually all of the Manhattan’s notable condominiums, cooperatives and townhouses. His client roster includes many of NYC’s top celebrities, politicians and business leaders.

Stribling & Associates announced that Jonathan Lavoie has joined the company.

Lavoie is the former director of I-20 Gallery and a respected name in the arts community.

With nearly a decade of experience curating and selling high-end contemporary art, Lavoie looks forward to utilizing his deep appreciation for aesthetics alongside a detail-oriented approach in his burgeoning real estate career.

He began working at I-20 Gallery after graduating from Syracuse University with a degree in Art History.

In his seven years at I-20, he achieved the position of Gallery Director where he oversaw all aspects of business including finances, press, staffing, and curation.

Lavoie will be based out of Stribling’s Chelsea brokerage, located at 340 West 23rd Street.

Saunders announced that Julie Masson has joined the firm.

She will initially be based in the Southampton office and then shift to Saunders’ new East Hampton office when it opens later this month.

Masson joins Saunders after working most recently for Strough Associates in Sag Habor.

She is a graduate of the Parsons School of Design where she received a Master of Fine Art in sculpture.

Masson started her career as the recession got underway, but her knowledge and warm personality enabled her to persevere and develop the relationships that propelled her to success in the industry.

 

Houlihan Lawrence announced that Richard Hopple and Valerie Filancia have joined as Real Estate Salespersons.

Hopple and Filancia will work out of the Chappaqua office, serving the communities of Chappaqua, Rye, Armonk, Bedford, Pound Ridge, Katonah, Briarcliff Manor, Purchase, Mount Kisco, Pleasantville and Thornwood.

Prior to joining Houlihan Lawrence, Richard Hopple worked with some of the most well-known brands in the world, including Poland Spring, San Pellegrino and Hanes.

Most recently he led all customer-related marketing activities for the home and office delivery of Nestle Waters, North American’s portfolio of products.

A Bucknell University graduate, Hopple, who also holds a MBA from The Fuqua School of Business at Duke University, currently resides in Chappaqua with his wife and two children.

Valerie Filancia is a New York University Certified Corporate Executive Coach.

Prior to joining the Chappaqua office, Filancia worked as a corporate trainer and executive coach at Indigo Resources.

She has also held positions at Peter Jennings Productions, The National Basketball Association and ParentWatch/Arrowsight, among others.

A graduate of State University of New York New Paltz, Filancia will bebased at Houlihan Lawrence’s Chappaque office located at 45 South Greeley Avenue.
