WHO’S NEWS: Craig Hogan named VP of luxury at Coldwell Banker, Thomas Mangel joins Saunders & Associates

Coldwell Banker Real Estate LLC announced Craig Hogan as its Vice President of Luxury. Hogan joins the Coldwell Banker® brand with 20 years of real estate sales and marketing experience, most recently as Director of the Coldwell Banker Previews International® program for Coldwell Banker Residential Brokerage in Chicago and surrounding regions.

Hogan will report to Chief Marketing Officer Sean Blankenship and be responsible for leading all luxury marketing efforts tied to Coldwell Banker Previews International, the brand’s luxury home sales program comprised of an exclusive group of certified agents. The Coldwell Banker brand is an industry leader in luxury home sales, with more than 21,000 transactions of $1 million-or-more homes in 2014, equating to more than $106 million in luxury sales each day. The Coldwell Banker organization has approximately 88,000 agents in 3,000 offices in 43 countries around the world.

Hogan joined Coldwell Banker Residential Brokerage in Chicago in 2007 and became Director of the company’s Coldwell Banker Previews International program in January 2012. He began his real estate career as an agent in 1996 and has won numerous industry awards for his work in local real estate and charitable organizations.

Corcoran Sunshine Marketing Group has named Danika Dorsey and Donna Puzio co-sales directors at the newly launched 53W53, designed by Ateliers Jean Nouvel and The Office of Thierry W. Despont
Danika Dorsey, with over 13 years experience selling luxury real estate and most recently the sales director at Cast Iron House designed by Shigeru Ban, is no stranger to selling residences designed by Pritzker Prize-winning architects. Prior to that, she handled sales at 56 Leonard, which reached $1 billion in sales in under a year. She’s also uniquely familiar with Jean Nouvel’s work, having sold at both 40 Mercer and 100 Eleventh Avenue — both designed by Nouvel. Her Pritzker résumé also includes Urban Glass House designed by architect Philip Johnson.

Donna Puzio is an industry veteran with over a decade of experience in selling luxury residential real estate in New York. Most recently she worked as sales director at River & Warren in Battery Park City, which raced to over 80 percent sold in just six months. Before River & Warren, Puzio worked as co-sales director at the incredibly successful West Village developmentThe Greenwich Lane, which reached 70 percent sold in under a year. Her new development experience also includes Huys – 404 Park Avenue South, 350 West Broadway, and Chelsea Enclave, among others.

Thomas Mangel, a longtime, influential member of the Hamptons real estate scene, will be joining the team at Saunders & Associates, the firm announced today. He leaves the Corcoran Group and joins Saunders’ Bridgehampton office effective immediately.

Mangel boasts over 25 years of experience in residential sales and 15 years devoted to stellar brokerage management. Prior to his 2009 move to sales, he had managed the Hampton Bays and Westhampton offices for Allan Schneider Associates and The Corcoran Group for over a decade.

Tom’s parents and family members have been Hamptons’ residents for nearly 70 years. His childhood was spent at Marine Hampton Resort, his parents’ first family-oriented hotel. Today he and his family are active and well-known members of the Hampton Bays community. He is a member of the Chamber of Commerce, involved in the local PTA, and has coached local youth sports for a number of years.

Douglas Elliman Real Estate has announced that top agent, Adam McLaughlin has joined the firm’s 575 Madison Avenue office.

With over a decade of experience in the industry, McLaughlin brings a wealth of knowledge and passion for real estate. McLaughlin’s business has been rooted in New York City’s downtown luxury market, while his client base is continually broadening toward bi-coastal and international markets.

Prior to working with Elliman, McLaughlin spent ten years building his real estate business at Corcoran, during which his drive and intimate knowledge of the market helped him to consistently rank among the top sales associates nationwide. Throughout his career he has represented investments for some of New York’s most sophisticated and notable figures in politics, finance, media, fashion, art and entertainment.

During his tenure at Elliman, the company was nominated by Inman as Most Innovative Real Estate Company.

Douglas Elliman announced the addition of Mick Duchon as senior director of luxury sales at the top-ranked company’s Miami Beach office.

A leader in the industry with strong expertise in ocean and bay front luxury real estate across South Florida, Mick possesses a relentless drive to close sales and works around the clock networking and making connections to bring in prospective buyers and sellers. Customizing his assistance to every client, he is able to distinguish the perfect fit and most profitable opportunities.  Mick brings a wealth of knowledge to the team and will work closely with longtime associate Eloy Carmenate on the residential sales of South Florida’s most prestigious real estate.

Mick has been a dominant figure in the Miami real estate market for the past ten years. In 2008 he joined Eloy Carmenate at Il Villaggio Realty, entering the residential brokerage business during a soft market. Since then, he has developed a deep understanding of the local residential market from Coral Gables to Bal Harbour and beyond, specializing his focus on ocean and bay front luxury real estate in South Beach. Il Villagio Realty merged with One Sotheby’s Realty in 2009, where Mick most recently served as a Broker Liaison with the Eloy Carmenate Group over the past six years.

Mick exhibits a tenacious work ethic utilizing his available time to network with brokers, buyers, sellers, developers and attorneys in order to obtain the greatest knowledge of the current market. A part of all major transactions with the Eloy Carmenate Group since 2008 resulting in over $700 million in sales, Mick has been involved in several record-breaking transactions including Penthouse Villa A at The Setai for $21.5 million, the equivalent of $3,800 per foot, and the sale of unit #3509 at The Setai for $12 million, the equivalent of $4,760 per foot.

Mick was additionally involved with the sales of Beach House 8 which sold out in 90 days and Glass, a Terra development, which sold out in six months. Additional notable transactions include several deals at Apogee, Il Villaggio, Capri, One Bal Harbour and St. Regis Bal Harbour.

Mick earned his Bachelors of Science degree in Business Management with a Minor in Psychology from the University of Miami.  He is active in the community serving as an executive on the alumni board at Chabad of University of Miami and he is a founding member of the JCC Miami Beach.  Mick has called Miami Dade County home for the past ten years and is a licensed salesperson in the state of Florida.

TOWN Residential announced that Susan Singer, Associate Broker, is returning to the firm after a five month stint at Corcoran. Susan will be located at TOWN Flatiron, the firm’s flagship office managed by Ryan Fitzpatrick, Managing Director, and Dan Marrello, Leasing Director.

Susan Singer’s fast rise in Manhattan real estate began immediately upon entering the industry in 2001. She secured her first listing while in training, was named Corcoran’s Rookie of the Year, consistently receives accolades for her performance, and sits among elite brokers nationwide thanks to her impressive high volume of sales.

Over her 14 year career, Susan has sold nearly 500 apartments. Her success is due to her extreme client-centric focus, and keen ability to meet her buyers’ and sellers’ needs. She has sold luxury properties throughout the city with a focus on the West Side of Manhattan, plus has a proven track record in her own building, London Terrace Towers. While known as the quintessential Seller’s Agent her negotiation skills have served her buyers and investors equally well.

Besides being known as the “Queen of London Terrace,” Susan also became recognized as the EcoQueen of Green as New York City’s first Certified Eco-Broker in 2006. Her creativity and knowledge of green and sustainable building and living inspired her cartoon strip, “The Adventures of the Green Queen,” which she wrote, directed, and showcases on her two highly-trafficked blogs.

After a 15 year career in wholesale accessories Susan ran a green business in upstate New York selling all natural and recycled products for the home and garden.
