Wax factor

European Wax Center has signed leases for two new Manhattan locations at 95 Chambers Street and 295 Park Avenue South.

In both transactions, European Wax Center was represented by Winick Realty Group broker Hal Shapiro, who was also responsible for leasing the brand’s East 34th Street location and their first-ever Manhattan store on 80th Street and First Avenue.

European Wax Center leased the former Straight from the Crate two-level storefront at 295 Park Avenue South. Winick president Steven E. Baker represented landlord, Abington Holding, along with colleague Michael Gielcher.

95 Chambers Street is the brand’s first Tribeca store. Landlord Ascend Group was represented by Winick executive vice president Darrell Rubens and his associate Lee Block.
