Touro College has sold a mixed-use building at 175 West 85th Street for $13 million, according to city records.
The 20,370 s/f, seven-story building was the residence hall for Touro’s Lander College for Women, which has a focus on Judaic studies. It had 30 apartments and a two-story study lounge when it previously served as a residence hall, according to Touro’s website.
It also has four ground floor retail spaces that were most recently represented by brokerage Besen & Associates.
The buyer was New Rochelle-based S.W. Management LLC. It is unclear what S.W.’s plans are for the building.
Officials at Touro and S.W. Management weren’t available to comment.
