Larken Associates has launched its new shared office concept in Hillsborough, NJ.
Targeting stay-at-home, freelance and contract workers the Suite Life at Amwell Mall, at 450 Amwell Road, provides 11 furnished suites can be rented month-to-month.
Utilities are included in the leasing price as well as access to the business lounge, kitchenette and conference room.
There are also on-demand desks that can be leased day-to-day.
Larken is rolling out this model throughout its portfolio including Readington Commons in Readington, NJ.
“This is an office trend that took off in large cities like New York, Dallas and even Beijing, China, for start-up companies looking for professional space, or individuals needing some human interaction without a lot of overhead,” said David Gardner, president and CEO of Larken Associates.
“We anticipate this will be hugely popular, and with technology allowing more and more people to work remotely, the need for this type of space will only increase.”
Larken acquired the 35,000 s/f mixed-use development in 2014 and commenced renovations to the upgrade the property.
