Schuckman Realty Inc. has been retained to lease the anchor space at the Lake Success Shopping Center at 1468 Union Turnpike in New Hyde Park, a dominant retail shopping center on Long Island.
The property, now occupied by Sears whose lease expires at the end of 2019, is approximately 118,000 s/f on three levels.
Schuckman Realty is in negotiations with several major retailers to divide the space. Pricing is negotiable and based on which level and the size of the space being leased.
“Lake Success Shopping Center is one of the most prominent shopping centers in the area with strong tenancy, one of the many reasons so much interest has been generated,” said Schuckman’s president Kenneth Schuckman.
“This is a high barrier to entry area and a great opportunity for any tenant. These types of spaces are not available very often.”
Other tenants at the Lake Success Shopping Center include Macy’s Backstage, Modell’s, Marshall’s Shoes, Express, Citibank, Bed, Bath and Beyond, Pier 1 Imports, Victoria’s Secret, GameStop, Shake Shack and others.
Schuckman and Jessica Vilmenay are the exclusive brokers for the assignment.
