Scott Rechler, vice chairman of The Port Authority, will step in for former New York Governor Eliot Spitzer at next week’s EisnerAmper private equity summit.
After losing his bid to run for comptroller, Spitzer withdrew from the scheduled speakers list, said a spokesman.
Rechler is CEO and chairman of RXR, one of the largest owners, managers, and developers in the New York Tri-State area with interests in $4.5 billion of assets.
Consulting and CPA firm EisnerAmper will welcome a who’s who of the New York City real estate industry to the Sept. 24 all-day event at the McGraw-Hill Conference Center.
Thor Equities CEO Joe Sitt, Witkoff Group CEO Steven Witkoff, Matt Khourie of CBRE Global Investors and Colony Capital president Richard Saltzman are among the speakers that will be in attendance.
