
The co-chairmen of Halstead Property’s parent company, Terra Holdings — David A. Burris, Kent M. Swig, Arthur W. Zeckendorf and William Lie Zeckendorf — announced the promotions of Diane M. Ramirez to chief executive officer and James M. Gricar to president of the firm.
Richard Grossman has been promoted to executive vice president, managing director of Halstead.
Three other Executive Team promotions include Sara Rotter to executive director of sales, Downtown; Trish Martin to executive director of sales, Brooklyn and Eugene Cordano, executive director of sales, New Jersey.
“Over the past decade, Halstead Property has experienced tremendous growth in existing market areas as well as in new locations such as Connecticut, the Hamptons and New Jersey,ˮ said COO Alan Kersner.
“The firm has more than doubled in size and strategically grown to more than 1,000 Agents in 28 offices throughout New York, New Jersey and Connecticut.
“We are extremely proud of what Halstead Property has become today and we look forward to the continued success of the firm in the future.”
As CEO Ramirez — who has served as president for 14 years — will continue to be responsible for the strategic growth of the firm and day-to-day functions including overseeing the Marketing, Technology, Communications and Relocations Divisions.
Gricar will work with her “to execute the firm’s vision,ˮ said the company is a press release.
Eugene Cordano has been credited with helping establish the Halstead brand in Hoboken.
He started as an agent in the Downtown offices of Halstead in 1996 and has risen through the ranks to the current well-deserved title.
The co-chairmen said they are looking forward to exploring additional opportunities in New Jersey.
