Long Island City brokerage, Modern Spaces invited the New York community to celebrate the diversity and charm of the LIC neighborhood. Equipped with “I Heart LIC” sunglasses, brokers, politicians and community members of all ages came out to the Clock Tower at 29-27th Avenue, to party while DJ Cerok’s soundtrack played in the background. Councilman Jimmy Van Bramer was among the guests. He praised Eric Benaim, CEO of Modern Spaces and Long Island City resident, as the man “single-handedly responsible for transforming Long Island City, or should I say LIC.” An interactive art exhibition called “How Much Do I Owe You” was presented by No Longer Empty.
