Retail veteran Lori Shabtai is hanging her license at luxury real estate firm, TOWN.
The former Winick Realty executive vice president will join TOWN Commercial and will be based in the firm’s Fifth Avenue Office located at 730 Fifth Avenue alongside Juliet Clapp, Dorothy Sexton, Brennan Zahler and Jonathan Butwin.
A ten year industry veteran, Shabtai has completed many high profile deals, including leasing the Puck Building’s 39,000 s/f space to outdoor apparel giant R.E.I.; leasing of more than 60,000 s/f retail space at the Empire Hotel and 25,000 s/f of retail at Trump SoHo Hotel. She has populated the Upper West Side with brands such as Whole Foods, Starbucks, Sephora, T.J. Maxx, and Verizon Wireless among others.
Lori exclusively represents YogaWorks and many other brands. She received the Real Estate Board of New York’s “Most Significant Deal of the Year” award and has ranked among New York City’s Top Retail Brokers by CoStar Group.

Before embarking on her real estate career, Shabtai enjoyed success in the positioning, marketing and sales of luxury products ranging from jewelry to fashion. Her father own’s Long Island’s Foodtown supermarket chain.
