American tech company Cognizant has renewed is lease with Alfred Sanzari for 36,000 s/f at the Glenpoint office campus in Teaneck, NJ.
The company will relocate from its space at Glenpoint Center West to GC East, where it will continue to operate its global headquarters.
Savills’ Gregg Najarian and Nate Brzozowski represented Cognizant in the lease at the office campus located at 300/400/500 Frank W. Burr Boulevard and where Cognizant has been a tenant since 1997 when it subleased a 7,500 s/f office.
Today, Cognizant is a Fortune 200 company with 292,500 employees across the globe providing IT services to a range of companies.
As Cognizant’s business has evolved, so has its space needs and Alfred Sanzari Enterprises’ leasing team has been able to accommodate the firm throughout its long history. The move to Glenpointe Center East allows Cognizant to remain at the campus in a space that is better suited to its needs.
“We know that the northern New Jersey market presents companies with a wide range of space options,” said Jerry Barta, Vice President and Director of Leasing and Marketing for Alfred Sanzari Enterprises. “However, our long-standing relationship with Cognizant enabled us to find a solution that would allow them to keep their headquarters at Glenpointe and continue to take advantage of the property’s amenities, location, and flexibility, which truly stand out in the local office market.
“We look forward to further building upon our deep relationship with Cognizant and working with them to meet their space needs as their business continues to evolve.”
Located a few miles from New York City, Glenpointe is within a tri-state transit hotspot. The campus has its own spa and fitness center, cafeteria, restaurant, wine bar, lounge, parking, 24/7 security and a variety of other services
The Glenpointe Complex also has 700 hotel rooms in the attached Marriott at Glenpointe and the recently opened, dual-branded Hampton Inn & Suites and Homewood Suites at Glenpointe across the street.
Alfred Sanzari recently revamped much of the complex with upgraded furniture and lighting fixtures and an overhauled outdoor amenity space.
