Rose Associates announced that leasing at The Mariner, a newly constructed residential building in Port Chester, NY, has begun, and the property’s first residents will be moving in immediately.
Located on the Byram River at Willett and Abendroth Avenues, The Mariner offers 100 apartments in one-, two- and three-bedroom layouts.
The Mariner is close to Metro North’s New Haven line as well as Route 1 and Interstates 95 and 287.
“The Mariner represents a rare opportunity to rent newly constructed, well-appointed homes in the exciting community of Port Chester,” said Robert A. Scaglion, senior managing director for Rose Associates, the property’s exclusive leasing and marketing agent.
Situated along the western shore of the Byram River, The Mariner provides access to a waterfront parkway that leads to a retail, dining and entertainment complex.
In the village’s downtown, Mario Batali and Joe Bastianich opened Tarry Lodge eatery on Mill Street. The Tarry Market opened in 2010 and others now include The Kneaded Bread, a French bakery and Copacabana, a Brazilian steakhouse.
“It is no secret that Port Chester is a thriving community that’s especially attractive to young professionals,” said Scaglion. “There has been limited opportunity to rent here, especially for those interested in newly constructed apartments within walking distance to the village and Metro North.”
Rents range from $1,995 for a one-bedroom unit to $3,850 for a three-bedroom penthouse.
