Law firm relocates to Midtown, signs 29K s/f lease at 750 7th Avenue

Holwell Shuster & Goldberg LLP, a boutique litigation law firm, has signed a 29,592-square-foot sub-sublease for the entire 26th and 27th floors at 750 7th Avenue, relocating from Lower Manhattan and expanding its legal practice in Midtown.

Savills Studley’s Senior Managing Director L. Craig Lemle and Associate Director Nick Zarnin represented Holwell Shuster & Goldberg in the transaction.

“Our client was seeking a sublease that was fully built and furnished to accommodate the firm’s current and future growth in Midtown,” Lemle said. “Although there is a dearth of sublease spaces available in the market right now, we were able to find a great fit and achieve competitive pricing at a premier midtown address.”

Holwell Shuster & Goldberg LLP will sub-sublease space from Mishcon de Reya, LLP, an international law firm based in London. Mendes & Mount is the prime tenant for this block of space, and leases eight floors within the building.

Holwell Shuster & Goldberg was established in 2012 and has experienced exceptional growth since its inception.  Savills Studley has represented the law firm in all real estate matters, including its most recent move to 125 Broad Street in the Financial District in 2012.

Daniel Goldberg, a partner of the firm, commented: “Our new home at 750 7th Avenue will allow for additional growth in our key practice areas of financial, securities, antitrust, and bankruptcy-related disputes.  The space features two contiguous, efficient floorplates and excellent views, which was very appealing to us.”  Goldberg continued, “Savills Studley found us the perfect space in that it is built out to a very high standard, and comes fully furnished.
