Stand-up comedian Josh Chudnovsky led a gaggle of funnymen – and women – for the first comedy night at 101 Bedford in Williamsburg last week.
The line-up included Erik Bergstrom (Live from Outer Space), Sabrina Jales (MTV: Just for Laughs), Doogie Horner (America’s Got Talent), Jason Kanter (Gotham Comedy Club Live), Joe List (David Letterman and Comedy Cellar) and up-and-coming stand-up comedian Casey James Salengo.
The event was part of a headline grabbing amenities package at 101 Bedford that includes activity-focused programs ranging from movie nights to restaurant tastings and wine tasting events.
“We’re always looking to provide an exceptional experience for the residents,” says Yoel Sabel, co-developer and building manager.
“Our amenities package has been cited among the best in Brooklyn, so the onus is on us to keep coming up with unique extras.”

Comedy night was a shoo-in for Chudnovsky, who lives in the building.
“This is an ideal place to work out new acts. The room is great, the audience happy to be there and for me, it’s really easy to get to the ‘club’ on time!” he joked.
We’re told plans are currently in the works for future shows.
