DONE DEALS: Miller, Schulz go by the book in Park Slope deal

Corcoran agents Jonathan Schulz and Jason Miller just closed on a text-book deal in Park Slope.


The pair called in an interior designer to “declutter” the two bedroom, 2-bath duplex at 708 Degraw Street, and they priced the new construction for its first re-sale at a “tight” $1.495 million.

The result was multiple offers and a $1.56 million contract within six days.

“In this market, we are stressing the importance of pricing right and presentation,” the team said. “Luckily our sellers trusted us immediately.”

The 1,500 s/f apartment has a custom kitchen and private patio. A downstairs


rec room was built for entertaining and also has its own patio.

The Miller Schulz team said interior design consultant Julie Schuster guided them through decluttering and optimizing furniture layout.

“We chose to price very tight to generate significant initial activity,” thy said. “Ultimately, we created a competitive atmosphere.”
