SL Green Realty Corp announced that two new tenants, both in the communications industry, and a third tenant who renewed and expanded, signed leases covering 43,678 s/f at 215 Park Avenue South.
The 20-story, 334,000 s/f office property is situated in the Union Square neighborhood.
Global Strategy Group LLC, a public affairs firm, signed a new 10+ year headquarters lease covering 21,974 s/f on the entire 15th and part of the 14th floor of the building.
Lippe Taylor, a marketing and public relations agency, signed a new lease covering 16,612 s/f for the entire 16th floor.
Warshaw Blumenthal Advertising, a full service production company, signed a renewal and expansion lease covering 5,092 s/f for a portion of the 20th floor.
“Midtown South continues to be the hottest market in town,” said Steven Durels, executive VP, director of leasing, who noted that the recently upgraded 215 Park is now close to 100 percent occupied and remains highly popular with creative related businesses.
Mark S. Weiss and Robert Eisenberg of Newmark Grubb Knight Frank acted on behalf of Global Strategy and Craig Reicher and James Ackerson acted on behalf of Warshaw Blumenthal.
Howard J. Tenenbaum and Gary M. Rosen of SL Green represented the landlord in all three deals.
