CPEX team inks 17,000 s/f in Brooklyn retail

The Brooklyn Retail Leasing Team at CPEX Real Estate recently completed seven leases totaling more than 17,000 s/f across Brooklyn.

The team leased ground floor commercial space at 73 Washington Avenue in Clinton Hill, 396 Atlantic Avenue in Boerum Hill, 319 3rd Avenue in the Gowanus, 673 5th Avenue in South Slope, 2048-2050 Flatbush Avenue in the Flatlands, 526 86th Street in Bay Ridge, and One Brooklyn Bridge.


The CPEX team, consisting of Managing Director Ryan Condren, Associate Director George Danut and Associate Keat Chew, represented the landlord in negotiating all seven lease transactions.

“As exemplified by these leases, demand for commercial space continues to be high throughout Brooklyn,” said Danut. “It is
pleasing to see that the majority of these operators are service-oriented and hopefully will positively impact and serve the communities they are entering.”

At 73 Washington Avenue, a newly renovated mixed-use building, Century Building Development is the new tenant.
The incoming tenant at 396 Atlantic Avenue is Destination Chic Interiors. 319 3rd Avenue will be occupied by Brooklyn Roots Vets, a newly formed veterinary practice.

The incoming tenant at 673 5th Avenue is BKLYN Clay, which will run clay-potting classes At 2048-2050 Flatbush Avenue , Professional Physical Therapy is expanding an at 526 86th Street, the new tenant is The MAX Challenge.
