CBRE Group, Inc. announced that it acted as agent for 275 Seventh Avenue in two office leasing relocations to the Midtown South building.
Ownership’s rebranding of the property into a creative haven for TAMI tenants is well underway.
ClassPass, Inc. will lease 28,019 s/f for its corporate headquarters, while MaxPoint Interactive, Inc., is leasing 10,044 s/f.
ClassPass, Inc., which is moving from 114 West 26th Street, will occupy the entire 11th floor, while MaxPoint Interactive, Inc., moving from 505 Eighth Avenue, is taking the partial 17th floor.
ClassPass, Inc. was represented by Lee & Associates’ Dennis Someck and Justin Myers; MaxPoint Interactive, Inc. was represented by Savills Studley’s Daniel Posy and Jason Roberts. Both tenants are expected to take occupancy later this year. CBRE’s Brian Dooley, Ivan Hillman and Ross Zimbalist are the agents for 275 Seventh Avenue and worked with the owner’s representative, Tishman Real Estate Services, in negotiating the transactions on behalf of ownership.
Joseph Simone, James Fitzgerald and Andrew Kaminsky, acted for Tishman Real Estate Services.
“There is no surprise that two such dynamic businesses have decided to take space in 275 Seventh Avenue, as ownership’s recent capital investments into the asset have really altered the building’s perception in the market, putting 275 Seventh in a position to attract high-quality tenancies,” said Zimbalist.
“The building’s newly renovated lobby, its high-quality build-outs, amazing light and views and some of the largest floor plates available in Midtown South are just some of the qualities that attracted rapidly expanding ClassPass and MaxPoint Interactive. The building is becoming a must see for TAMI tenants.”
Zimbalist noted that over the last 18 months, the leasing team had also completed deals in the building with FreeWheel Media, Inc. and Gameloft.
Located between 25th and 26th Streets in Chelsea, 275 Seventh Avenue is a 600,000 s/f 29-story office building
