Avison Young tapped to lease 500,000 s/f Connecticut mall

Avison Young has been retained by G&S Investors to serve as exclusive leasing agent and property manager for The Waterfront at Port Chester.

The 500,000 s/f shopping center is located on 20 acres of land in Port Chester, eastern Westchester County, near the border of Greenwich, Connecticut.

With more than 2,200 on-site parking spaces, it has a wide range of national tenants including Stop & Shop, Marshalls, Walgreens, Costco and Bed Bath & Beyond, as well as a 14-screen Loews Cinema.

The Avison Young team of Jedd Nero, principal and managing director of New York City retail, and associates Christa Goulakos and Jeremy Schwartz will be responsible for leasing the shopping center’s retail space.

A total of 35,750 s/f of space is currently available for rent, in parcels ranging from 1,447 to 13,000 square feet.

“With an affluent population of close to 300,000 people living in a seven-mile radius of the property, the Waterfront presents a compelling option for retailers seeking a modern, well-anchored shopping center,” said Nero.

“We anticipate strong interest in the space from a wide range of prospective tenants, from international to local retailers.”
