Two young Citi Habitats agents have launched a new service for students.
Justin Montero and Avery Wagar created The Dormless Team at Citi-Habitats to offer students and parents a personalized resource for off-campus housing in New York City.
According to Montero, as students with limited resources seek alternatives to dormitory living, they quickly realize how few clear options are available to them.

“Faced with a difficult and confusing system, Dormless has streamlined the process integrating a fluid connection between student, parents, and landlords,ˮ said Montero.
Through free one on one consultations, Dormless identifies the student’s needs and tailors a list of best-suited housing options.
The student is also teamed with a dedicated specialist to work with from the start of the search until they are living comfortably in their new home.
“From expediting the necessary paperwork, to analyzing the appropriate rents throughout the city, Dormless navigates through the myriad of options, streamlining the process, and allowing students and parents to make an informed decision,ˮ said Wagar.

Montero and Wagar said their team of licensed professional real estate agents have access to quality inventory throughout the five boroughs.
“Attending college in New York City opens up a great new world of opportunity for students,ˮ said Montero. “Students should embrace their freedom and independence with confidence not confusion, and that starts with where they live.ˮ
