Yonkers Industrial Development Agency (IDA) has approved financial incentives for two commercial developments representing more than $4 million in private investment in the city.
The awards were made to Yonkers Contracting for construction of a new facility at 969A Midland Avenue. The facility will be used for storage of construction equipment with a vehicle workshop and small office.
The IDA also gave approval of incentives for Maple Realty Management LLC to build new retail space at 987 Central Park Avenue. The new $1.4 million building, which will replace a dilapidated vacant building, will be occupied by a donut and coffee shop.
