Woodmont Properties and Canoe Brook Development have begun construction on a luxury rental apartment community in Secaucus, New Jersey.
Located at 1631 Paterson Plank Road, the four-story community will feature 116 one and two-bedroom apartments with a three-story parking garage.
With views directly across the river from American Dream, the property is located on a residential cul-de-sac with a pocket park.
The apartment community provides residents with bus access to midtown Manhattan, and is walking distance to downtown Secaucus.
“With each of our properties, we strive to identify walkable and vibrant locations that offer residents a unique lifestyle and experience, and our development in Secaucus is no exception,” said Stephen Santola, Executive Vice President and General Counsel at Woodmont Properties.
Apartments will feature open layouts and some will include oversized terraces and/or balconies and all residents will have garage parking.
Amenities will include a clubroom with billiards and gaming, fitness center, playroom and several outdoor courtyards with river views.
“We’re thrilled to begin development on this truly stunning boutique luxury community,” said Jack Tycher, partner at Canoe Brook Development. “With its location on a charming cul-de-sac and its walkability to several of the neighborhood parks and destinations, it’s sure to attract residents who are seeking convenience and access to some of the top amenities the community has to offer in close proximity to New York City.”
Located three miles West of the Lincoln Tunnel, Secaucus is a short commute into New York City and a quick ride away from The Meadowlands, home of the Giants, Jets, concerts, circuses, ice shows, weekly flea markets and the Meadowlands Racetrack and most recently American Dream mega-mall with indoor amusement and water parks, ski slope and multiple entertainment options.
