
Belveron Partners announced the addition of executives in the fields of acquisitions and asset management to its team.
Taking on the role of Managing Director of Investments for Belveron is Josh Plattner, formerly Director of Acquisitions for Jonathan Rose Companies in New York.
His past work included serving as the acquisition lead for the firm’s private equity fund.
Before Rose, he spent time working with Save the Children in La Paz, Bolivia developing educational programming for the community’s youth focused on economic and financial literacy and independence.
He holds a dual master’s degree in Planning and Real Estate development from the University of Southern California and received a BA in Economics from the University of Michigan.

Belveron has also hired Bianca Vanin as Head of Asset Management.
Formerly of L+M Development Partners and Enterprise Community Partners in New York, Vanin is now based in San Francisco and oversees Belveron’s diverse portfolio, spanning 30,000 homes across 32 states.
In late 2019, Belveron expanded its leadership team with the addition of Michael Pence as Chief Operating Officer.
Pence previously spent 13 years with Carmel Partners as the lead for the company’s West Coast Investments team. As COO, he directly oversees Belveron’s Asset Management, Portfolio Management, and Finance divisions.

Fairstead announced that Shah Alam has joined the company as president of Fairstead Management, which oversees the management of approximately 12,500 apartments owned by the firm.
Alam previously served as senior vice president at Related Management Company.
A 28-years veteran of the multifamily real estate industry, Alam has managed more than 110,000 apartments across the U.S.
Prior to joining Related, he was the executive vice president at Edgewood Management, where he oversaw a 32,000-unit portfolio, including 27,000 affordable apartments. Alam got his start in the industry at AIMCO, where he held various positions and managed more than 60,000 apartments all over the country during his tenure there.
The appointment comes as Fairstead aims to acquire 5,000 units a year, with the goal of bringing the total number of apartments under management to 25,000 by 2023.

BEB Capital has named Art Jimenez Jr. to the post of director of Property Management.
Jimenez, who has broad experience as a real estate development, construction and asset management executive, served as controller at the Hudson Yards mega-development in Manhattan from 2015 to 2018, where he oversaw some $23 billion of construction projects.
His other previous posts include senior vice president of Phoenix Realty Group, CFO of NRS Construction and Facilities Management, and development manager for Kimco Realty Corp., a real estate investment trust. Most recently, he operated his own consulting business.
Jimenez earned a Bachelor of Science degree in accounting and business management from Pace University’s Lubin School of Business Management. He is working toward a Master’s Degree at New York University.
He is the founder of the Asset Management Association, an organization serving as an international forum for asset managers.

The New Jersey office of Avison Young announced Toni L. Casiano has joined the firm as a senior vice president, specializing in transaction management and agency services.
Casiano has over 30 years of commercial real estate experience with a background in both corporate and landlord transaction services, lease negotiations and asset management services.
She joins Avison Young after spending over two decades with Mack Cali Realty Corporation where she most recently served as a senior vice president of leasing for an office portfolio of over 11 million square feet.
During her time at Mack Cali, Casiano oversaw the structure and negotiation of all lease and marketing transactions representing approximately 59 percent of company’s reported office sector.
Earlier in her career, she also served as the director of leasing and marketing for Paragon Associates and as a tenant broker with the Helmsley-Spear organization.
She attended the New York University School of Professional Studies where she focused on Asset Management and Montclair State University where she studied psychology.
She served on the Executive Leadership Committee for Mack-Cali Realty Corporation.

Avison Young  New York announced that Christopher Johnson has joined the Tri-State Investment Sales Group as an Associate Director, focusing on providing advisory services to the owners of commercial, industrial and development real estate.Â
Johnson is the Founding Partner of The Laight Group advisory firm. Before that, he advised landlords, tenants and investors on lease and investment sales transactions for RKF and was a member of the Investment Sales group for Eastdil Secured.Â

Williams will be responsible for establishing, developing and managing Arbor’s multifamily affordable financing platform across the agency and structured product lines, including, but not limited to, Tax Exempt Bond Financing, Low Income Housing Tax Credits (LIHTC), Section 8 Housing and Opportunity Zones.
Prior to his current position at Arbor, Williams served as Relationship Manager, Targeted Affordable Housing at Freddie Mac.
He holds a Bachelor of Arts in Economics and a Bachelor of Arts in Political Science from the University of Maryland, as well as a Master of Business Administration in Business Economics and Public Policy from The George Washington University.

Dublinsky, CPA, joins the firm with over two decades of accounting experience from Big 4 and national accounting firms.
He has produced over 60 real estate events within the past decade, ranging from intimate investor roundtables to co-founding the marquee Global Leaders in Real Estate & EisnerAmper R/E Private Equity Summits.
Dublinsky was elected the National Realty Club’s Second-Vice President in 2020. He also was elected to The Counselors of Real Estate (CRE) in 2017.
Dublinsky is a member of the American Institute of Certified Public Accountants and NY State Society of CPAs and served as the chairman of the Real Estate Committee.

NAI James E. Hanson announced that President William C. Hanson, SIOR, has been named Chairman of the Board of Directors for the Commerce and Industry Association of New Jersey (CIANJ).

Syska Hennessy has appointed John Mezic, PE, LEED AP, NFPA, an engineer with more than 30 years of experience, as associate practice area director – facilities management and commissioning (FMCX).
In his new role, Mezic will help expand the FMCX team in New York.
Previously, Mezic served as senior vice president at PMC Group One where he led a variety of projects, including data centers, trading floors, and high-rise office buildings for such clients as Nomura Securities and National Grid.
From 2004 to 2013, he served as the principal owner of Power Concepts, LLC, a company he co-founded in 1996.
Mezic received a B.S. in electrical engineering from Polytechnic University in New York.

Holt Construction has hired Christopher Cesario as director.
A corporate executive with more than 34 years of experience in the business and construction fields, he will lead Holt’s business development efforts, as well as maintain the firm’s relationships with owners, architects, engineers and subcontractors.
He will help lead pre-construction activities, with a particular focus on procurement and ensuring the right subcontractors are hired for the right projects within clients’ budget agreements.
Cesario’s has experience in the finance sector and with leading construction firms such as Turner, StructureTone and AECOM Tishman.

He provided all aspects of the network, including programming, distribution, commercial insertion, production of all content, studio, advertising sales, and on-air hosting.
