Silverstein Properties announced that Dino Fusco will be joining the company as Chief Operating Officer.

Fusco was recently the global head of Goldman Sachs’ Corporate Services, Real Estate and Spend Management, responsible for driving the firm’s real estate strategy.
Fusco joined Goldman Sachs in 1994, and played a significant role in modernizing the firm’s workspaces around the world.
Fusco will work with Marty Burger, CEO and Tal Kerret, President, to manage and grow the company as it expands its operations.
Larry Silverstein will continue to lead the firm as Chairman.
Fusco was a senior representative of the team that developed the Goldman Sachs headquarters at 200 West Street at a time when the future of Lower Manhattan was far from certain.
At Goldman Sachs, Fusco was a supporter of the firm’s diverse and inclusive teamwork culture, serving on both the Goldman Sachs firm wide Diversity Task Force and the firm wide Global Recruitment Advisory Committee.
He also served as a Partner Ally of the firm’s Lesbian, Gay, Bisexual and Transgender Network, and served as a Senior Sponsor of the firm’s Black Analyst and Hispanic/Latino Analyst Initiatives.
He currently serves as a Board Member of the Lower Manhattan Cultural Council and the Downtown Lower Manhattan Association, and as an active member of The Partnership for New York City.
Fusco has also served as a Fellow in the David Rockefeller Fellowship Program, sponsored by The Partnership for New York City.

Avison Young announced the hiring of Dennis Sherry as Senior Portfolio Manager of the firm’s Real Estate Management Group.

Sherry brings nearly two decades of experience across all areas of property and facilities management, including specialized expertise in property portfolio planning, development, due diligence, deal-sourcing and negotiations and asset management.
Sherry’s experience includes managing a variety of client real estate portfolios.
He joins Avison Young after years of working for many of the country’s top real estate companies including Newmark Knight Frank, CBRE, Jones Lang LaSalle and The Rockefeller Development Group.
Sherry’s noteworthy career achievements include overseeing the Lehman Brothers portfolio of owned/leased properties across Manhattan for The Rockefeller Group as well as leading CBRE’s Asset Services Group.
During his time in Newmark Knight Frank, Sherry drove annual gross revenue of $60 million s.
Sherry graduated from Pennsylvania State University with a bachelor’s degree in Accounting and has completed master’s-level courses at New York University’s Real Estate Program.

Columbia Property Trust, Inc. announced that its Board of Directors has appointed Finn Wentworth as a member of the Board, effective March 2, 2020. Wentworth will serve as a non-independent, non-executive director of the Company and as a member of the Board’s Investment Committee.
Wentworth was a Founder and Partner of Normandy Real Estate Management, LLC, a developer, operator and investment manager of office and mixed-use assets in New York, Boston, and Washington, D.C., from February 2002 until Columbia’s acquisition of Normandy earlier this year.
Prior to forming Normandy, Wentworth served as president, chief operating officer and a board member of YankeeNets LLC, the holding company of the New York Yankees, New Jersey Nets, and New Jersey Devils.
His more than 35 years of real estate experience also includes co-founding Gale & Wentworth, an investment and development firm.

Marcus & Millichap has announced the following promotions:
John Horowitz to First Vice President/District Manager – Northeast Division.
Horowitz joined Marcus & Millichap as an agent in Brooklyn in 2006 and served as an Associate Director of the National Multi Housing Group.
He joined the management team in 2010 as Sales Manager in Brooklyn and was appointed Regional Manager of the firm’s Brooklyn office in 2011 and elected to Vice President in 2015. He will oversee operations in Boston, Brooklyn, and Montreal.
Brian Hosey to Vice President/District Manager – Mid Atlantic District. Hosey joined Marcus & Millichap in 2010 as an agent, and joined the management team as Sales Manager in Manhattan in 2013. In 2014, he was promoted to regional manager of the New Jersey office. He will oversee the Mid Atlantic District.
Susan Bands to Associate Regional Manager – Manhattan. Bands joined Marcus & Millichap in 2004 as a shopping center sales specialist and partnered with her mother Sharon Bands.
Prior to joining the firm, Bands worked with Forest City Ratner Companies as Director of Sales and Marketing and Grubb & Ellis as Associate Managing Director of Investment Sales. In 2018, she was appointed Sales Manager of the firm’s Manhattan office
Thomas Shihadeh to Regional Manager – Boston. Shihadeh joined Marcus & Millichap’s Brooklyn office in 2013 and was appointed Sales Manager in Boston in 2019.
Jim McGuckin to Regional Manager – New Jersey. McGuckin also joined the firm’s Brooklyn office in 2013, under the firm’s sales internship program before becoming a sales associate in 2014. He joined the Brooklyn office’s management team in 2017 as Sales Manager.
