WHO’S NEWS: Residential appointments and promotions

Brown Harris Stevens announced that Victoria Vinokur has joined its team as a Licensed Associate Real Estate Broker.
For the past eight years, Vinokur worked at Halstead Property, and before that, at Prudential Douglas Elliman.
has been profiled in the Wall Street Journal and quoted in Vinokur graduated from the Kelley School of Business at Indiana University with a degree in International Business and Marketing.

Houlihan Lawrence announced that Stacey Cronin has joined its Brewster brokerage team.
Cronin has more than 12 years of real estate experience and joins from Berkshire Hathaway HomeServices Hudson Valley Properties in Pawling, where she sold more than $7.7 million in 2018.
She is licensed in both New York and Connecticut, and serves clients in Westchester, Putnam, Dutchess and Fairfield counties.
Cronin holds a Master’s in Finance from Pace University and is actively involved in community affairs.

Triplemint announced the addition of 29 new team members this April.
Hires include relocation director Ashley Marchetta and brokers Michael Simmon-Pappadakos, Peta Couzens, Chase Safarowic and Kemba Buchanan.
Ashley Marchetta joins Triplemint from finance recruitment at UBS, Bank of America Merrill Lynch and Barclays Investment Bank.
She is a graduate of Georgetown University with a Bachelor of Science in Business Administration.
Marchetta will drive the Triplemint relocation program by establishing preferred corporate partners for professionals moving to New York City.
Michael Simmon-Pappadakos joins Triplemint from Mirador Real Estate.
He has a Bachelor of Business Administration from The University of Maryland and served in the United States Marine Corps for seven years at embassies in Europe and Africa.
Peta Couzens is reemerging in real estate sales at Triplemint after a year in her home country of Australia.
She was previously with Bohemia Realty Group for three years. Couzens is a graduate of Sydney’s University of Technology with a Bachelor of Interior Design.
Chase Safarowic joins with experience from Elegran Real Estate and Bohemia Realty Group.
He has a Bachelor of Criminal Justice from Long Island University Post and played lacrosse for four years as a three-time All American player.
Triplemint also welcomed the return of Kemba Buchanan to the Whitman Team.

Halstead announced that CORE’s Matthew Cohen has joined the firm.
Cohen will work out of the firm’s Village office, headed by Richard Grossman, Halstead’s President, and Sara Rotter, Executive Director of Sales, Downtown.
Over his nearly five years at CORE, Cohen consistently ranked as one of the firm’s top brokers and was recognized as one of the youngest real estate brokers in New York City to surpass $100 million in sales.
He was named to the REAL Trends list of America’s Best Real Estate Agents.
A graduate of Muhlenberg College, Cohen started his career in investment banking before entering real estate.

Houlihan Lawrence announced the addition of Cathy Thomas and Heather Hilleman to its Darien office.
The two top-producing agents were previously with Halstead Real Estate.
Cathy Thomas, a full-time agent for nearly 16 years, has been a consistent market leader with deep knowledge of communities, inventory and neighborhoods she represents.
Prior to entering real estate, she had a long and distinguished career at Walt Disney Company, where she was Vice President of TV Ad Sales.
Heather Hilleman, who has been working in real estate locally for the past four years, has built a solid client base in Darien, Rowayton, New Canaan, and the surrounding area.
With more than two decades of sales and marketing experience, she has an extensive background analyzing market conditions, negotiating deals and building brands.

Brian Levine has been appointed as In-House Counsel/Director of Legal Services & Professional Standards Administrator for the Hudson Gateway Association of Realtors (HGAR).
Levine comes to HGAR with nearly two decades of legal experience. He has handled small matters in arbitration and large matters that extended to the U.S. Supreme Court.
Licensed to practice law in New York, Pennsylvania, Massachusetts and New Jersey, as well as various Federal District Courts and the Third Circuit Court of Appeals, he began his real estate career as an associate broker for a boutique luxury brokerage in Rockland and was the Broker/Manager of Houlihan Lawrence’s Irvington and Ardsley offices and worked with Ellis Sotheby’s International Realty and Rand Realty
In his youth, he worked as a stage technician for various New England venues and as the Stage Manager for venues including Ozawa Hall at Tanglewood, the home of the Boston Symphony Orchestra and the Boston University Tanglewood Institute.
A St. John’s Law alum, Levine is also a graduate of the S.I. Newhouse School of Communication at Syracuse University. He received his Master’s degree from Emerson College, and after graduation, served as an adjunct Communication professor at Emerson College, Brandeis University, and Framingham State University before attending law school.

Houlihan Lawrence announced the appointment of two Regional Vice Presidents and two Regional Managers to its executive team.
Deborah Doern and Jeff Kelly — both brokerage managers from the firm’s Larchmont and Darien offices, respectively — were promoted to serve as Regional Vice Presidents on the brokerage management team, representing the firm’s 30 offices and 1,300 agents throughout Connecticut, Westchester County, and Hudson Valley, NY.
A 35-year real estate veteran, Deborah Dern joined Houlihan Lawrence in 2007 as a Rye/Harrison, NY brokerage manager before transferring to the Larchmont, NY office, also as brokerage manager, in 2011, where the office has been consistently been ranked #1 under her leadership.
Doern started her career at her family’s real estate appraisal firm in 1996 before transitioning to the sales side of the business, originally becoming a top producer in the Sound Shore region. She also previously ran offices in Larchmont and New Rochelle for another brokerage.
Jeff Kelly, a third-generation native of Darien, CT and brokerage manager of Houlihan’s Darien office, was the longtime head of Kelly Associates Real Estate – Houlihan Lawrence’s first independently-owned broker affiliate, acquired in 2015. Under his leadership, Kelly Associates expanded to Rowayton and acquired New Canaan brokerage Brotherhood & Higley.
Prior to entering the real estate industry in 2005, Kelly served as a New York City attorney specializing in mergers and acquisitions.
Houlihan Lawrence also announced the promotions of Barry Graziano and David Haffenreffer to Regional Managers.
In addition to managing the Armonk and Croton offices, Graziano will become an official advisor to the Briarcliff Manor and Chappaqua offices.
David Haffenreffer, who currently oversees Houlihan Lawrence’s market leading Greenwich office, will additionally advise the Rye and Larchmont offices.
