OC Development Management (OCDM) announced two new hires and the promotion of two key executives in its midtown Manhattan offices.
John McGrath has joined OCDM as Senior Project Manager. He will be responsible for the day-to-day operations at several of the firms most substantial projects.
Prior to joining OCDM, McGrath served as a Project Manager for Hunter Roberts Construction Group, where he worked on projects such as the 120,000 s/f renovation of the Fulton Market Building.
Before that, he worked as a Project Manager at Manhattan-based Ideal Interiors Inc. and Construction Manager for Toll Brothers Inc. in Hoboken.
McGrath holds a Bachelor of Science in Civil Engineering with a concentration in Construction Management from Columbia University and is LEED AP BD+C accredited.
James Robinson has been appointed as Vice President of Construction.
He will join the executive team in leading and growing OCDM and serve as project executive for the redevelopment of 150 Fifth Avenue, the interior construction of 440,000 s/f for JPMC as well as other projects.
Prior to joining the firm, he served as a Director at Gorton & Partners LLC (currently Colliers International). Before that he held various leadership roles at Plaza Construction, Skanska, Bovis Lend Lease and AMEC/Morse Diesel, working on such projects as Brookfield Place, Brooklyn Bridge Park and JFK Terminal 4.
He earned a Bachelor of Science in Civil Engineering and minor in Economics at the University of Virginia, and continued his educational pursuits taking Project Management classes at the University of California, Berkeley while constructing Medical Office Buildings and renovating Hospitals for Kaiser Permanente.
Elizabeth Flynn has been promoted from Operations Director to Vice President of Operations.
Prior to OCDM, she severed as an Operations Manager for Jones Lang LaSalle. Flynn also worked with Moritt Hock & Hamroff LLP on their TD Bank account and with Cushman & Wakefield on their Citibank account.
She earned a Bachelor of Arts in English and History from Providence College.
Adam Kusinitz has been elevated from Projects Director to Vice President of Project of Project Management.
Before joining OCDM, he was the Acting Director & Team Lead of Project Management for CBRE with PepsiCo, and prior to that, he was the VP/Project Management Office Lead for Jones Lang LaSalle on the JPMorgan Chase account.
Kusinitz holds a Bachelor of Science from the State University of New York, Environmental Science and Forestry, and a minor accreditation in Construction Management.

Richard Gobeille, PE, Senior Principal, Tolling, has rejoined the firm in the Transportation group.
With 37 years of experience, he is nationally known for his expertise in all-electronic tolling implementation, traffic and revenue forecasting.
He has served as Project Director and Project Manager for more than $19 billion in successful toll facility financing bond sales for public authorities, private clients, public‐private partnerships, and concessionaires.
Gobeille was Project Manager for the initial feasibility, testing, and implementation of E-ZPass for several toll authorities.
He holds a bachelor’s degree in civil engineering and a master’s in mechanical engineering, both from Stevens Institute of Technology.
Ronald Prann, PhD., Principal, Environmental Scientist, is a certified professional wetlands scientist with more than 35 years’ experience in coastal and natural resources permitting, restoration, and program/project management.
Prann has extensive project expertise across the Northeast and Gulf Coast, with a focus on infrastructure siting, permitting, and ecosystem restoration.
Prann earned his Ph.D. from Kennedy-Western University. He also holds a master’s and bachelor’s degree in environmental science from Rutgers University and East Stroudsburg University, respectively.
Paul Truban, PE, Transportation Planner/Engineer, brings 30 years of industry experience, with 15 years’ focused expertise in freight planning through his prior role as Manager for the New Jersey Department of Transportation’s Freight Planning & Services Unit.
He was actively involved in the development of New Jersey’s Commercial Vehicle Information System Network program.
At Stantec, Truban will focus on growing the firm’s North American presence in freight planning and logistics.
Truban holds a bachelor’s degree in civil engineering from the University of Pittsburgh, and a master’s degree in transportation engineering from the New Jersey Institute of Technology.
Jaros, Baum & Bolles (JB&B) announced that Gabriel S. Peschiera has joined the firm as Director of Smart Buildings.
Peschiera has extensive experience in building mechanical systems, data analysis, software engineering and electronics hardware product development.
Prior to JB&B, Peschiera was co-founder and CEO of Envairo, a venture-backed startup that developed HVAC control software and hardware.
Before Envairo, he worked as Director of Engineering at Ecorithm, a software company that analyzes BMS data to identify and diagnose issues in building mechanical systems.
He holds a Bachelor of Arts degree in Architecture as well as Bachelor and Master of Science degrees in Civil Engineering, all from Columbia University. He is a licensed Professional Engineer in the State of New York.
Pizzarotti, LLC announced that Martin S. Hirko has joined the company as Vice President and Project Executive.
Hirko is a seasoned construction industry veteran with a diverse background that spans infrastructure, energy, financial and commercial offices, cultural centers and healthcare and pharmaceutical projects.
He has extensive experience in supervising large-scale construction sites as a Project Executive.
High-profile projects he has managed include the Stavros Niarchos Foundation Cultural Center, an $867 million project on a 42-acre site in Athens, Greece; the modernization of Coney Island Hospital; and several New York City Economic Development Corp. (NYCEDC) commissioned projects including the National Lighthouse Museum and the Pier 79 Ferry Terminal.
EW Howell Construction Group announced the expansion of its New York City offices with the formation of a dedicated Interiors Construction Division.
The new division will be led by industry veteran Robert Hohmann, who joins the firm as Vice President.
Hohmann brings more than 30 years of experience to his role, including more than two decades as principal of a leading Manhattan interiors general contracting firm.
He built projects for a number of prestigious corporations and institutions, including JP Morgan Chase, Queens College, 21st Century Fox, and the New York City Police Department.
Hohmann is a trusted construction resource for many of the City’s prominent owners and property managers, including Colliers International, Jamestown, Newmark, RFR Holdings and Friedland Properties.
Most recently, Hohmann was principal of AJS Project Management where he drove business development and project supervision for the firm for 22 years.
He honed his craft in construction management earlier in his career at Ambassador Construction and at NICO Construction before that.
Lasberg Construction Associates has hired Marie Estelle La’Boy as Estimator.
La’Boy has worked in the construction industry for much of her life. After graduating high school, she worked as a drafter and with her family’s drywall finishing company.
She attended Monroe Community College and the University of Rochester, from which she received a degree in electrical engineering, before working with several electrical contractors for approximately ten years.
In her career, La’Boy has been involved in estimating construction at a variety of structures, including residential, hotel renovations, retail fito-uts, gas stations and a host of specialty projects.
