
Delos, a wellness real estate and technology company, announced that Arthur J. Mirante II, principal, Tri-State President and member of the Board of Directors of Avison Young, has joined the Delos Advisory Board.
Mirante founded Avison Young’s New York office in 2012. Before that, heserved as CEO at Cushman & Wakefield for 20 years. During his tenure, firm’s revenues increased from $80 million to $1.2 billion and the firm expanded from 60 U.S. offices to 173 offices, including 100 outside the country.
Throughout his career, Mirante has participated in some of New York’s largest and most complex transactions, including the sale of the World Trade Center and the $1.8 billion acquisition of 666 Fifth Avenue in 2007.
He has consulted for companies such as JPMorgan Chase & Co., Park Lane and the Collegiate Church and represented numerous landlords including RXR, Kamber Management, Paramount Leasehold and Thor Equities.
Mirante joins a panel of Delos advisors who include Dr. Deepak Chopra, former Congressman Dick Gephardt and Leonardo DiCaprio.

Madison Realty Capital (MRC) has appointed Brian Chase as its new Chief Operating Officer (COO).
Chase becomes the first COO in the firm’s 16-year history and will report directly into MRC’s managing principals and co-founders Josh Zegen and Brian Shatz.
Chase brings over two decades of experience to his new role. Prior to joining MRC he served as the Chief Operating Officer and Chief Financial Officer for Garrison Investment Group since 2007.
Prior to Garrison, Chase was Chief Financial Officer of the Distressed Securities business at The Blackstone Group. He also served as controller at Fortress Investment Group and began his career at PricewaterhouseCoopers LLP in their Capital Markets group.
Chase received a B.S. in Accounting from the State University of New York at Binghamton and is a Certified Public Accountant in the State of New York.

Murillo has over 30 years of experience in corporate real estate across multiple service platforms including, portfolio solutions, location strategy and transaction management.
Previously, he served as a senior vice president at Cushman & Wakefield where he represented clients including Xerox, Fiat Chrysler Automobile, Alorica and, Humana.
Murillo began his career at KPMG in New York City before joining Edward S. Gordon and later serving as senior managing director at Murray Hill Properties.
He graduated from Syracuse University, Whitman School of Business with a Bachelor of Science in Finance and Information Systems and received an MBA in Accounting from NYU Stern School of Business.

Helmsley Spear announced the hiring of Len Zimmerman to serve as the Executive Managing Directorl focused primarily on tenant representation.
Previously, Zimmerman served as executive managing director and principal at Lee and Associates.
His experience in healthcare and with non-profits includes past clients such as Mount Sinai, Continuum Health Partners, CUNY, Clark School for the Deaf, and the Screen Actors Guild.
He has also completed many large transactions for major for-profit companies, including Qwest Corporation and Intermap Network Services.
Earlier, he worked with CBRE on new business acquisitions and was with Grubb and Ellis for nine years providing tenant representation services.
Before joining the real estate industry, Zimmerman lived and worked throughout Southeast Asia for 16 years where he owned an import/export business.
He attended Queens College and Baruch College, majoring in economics and business.

Rosenthal previously served as the executive managing director and principal for Lee & Associates NYC office brokerage division.
He has represented many notable clients including National General Corp., HarperCollins Publishers and MicroTek. as well as some of New York City’s most prominent properties.
Rosenthal started his career as a broker over 30 years ago at Wm. A. White & Sons which evolved into Grubb & Ellis. During that time Mr. Rosenthal had the distinction of having twice been selected as the recipient of the Real Estate Board of New York’s prominent Most Ingenious Deal of the Year award.

Cushman & Wakefield has hired Chuck Kohaut as a Director in the firm’s Equity, Debt & Structured Finance (EDSF) group based out of the firm’s East Rutherford, New Jersey office.
Over the course of his career, Kohuaut has participated in investment sales totaling more than $2.5 billion and has completed over $11.5 billion in property valuations for some of the largest institutional investors in the world.
He spent six years in institutional investment sales at Newmark Knight Frank, CBRE and Colliers International.

LaSalle Investment Management U.S. value-add fund series, LaSalle Income & Growth, has hired Jeff Shuster as managing director and senior acquisitions officer.
Shuster joins LaSalle from Starwood Capital Group, where he worked in a variety of roles of increasing responsibility since 2008.
Over the course of his 12 years at Starwood, he completed transactions spanning the risk spectrum, including value-add and opportunistic equity as well as performing and non-performing real estate debt.
He began his career with Bear Stearns in the Commercial Mortgages group where he underwrote over $2 billion of CMBS debt.
Shuster holds a BS in Economics with a concentration in Real Estate and Finance from the Wharton School at the University of Pennsylvania.

Guenther and Hanley will be joining Core Enterprises, the in-house real estate services division of Larken Associates.
An industry veteran with nearly 40 years of experience, Jordan Guenther brings a diverse skillset to his new role.
He previously served as senior project manager with REDCOM Design and Construction and oversaw construction of the largest Jaguar Land Rover dealership in the world.
before that, he was employed at Eastman Companies, Dowel Associates and Iris Construction and Advance Realty Group.
Liam Hanley previously served as director of capital projects for the Archdiocese of New York, and held positions as director of development accounting for Brookfield Properties, and senior accountant for Turner Construction.

The Durst Organization announced the appointment of Lauren Ferrentino as Managing Director of Commercial Leasing.
She will focus on leasing Durst’s recently renovated 1155 Avenue of the Americas as well as the soon to be competed repositioning of 825 Third Avenue.
Ferrentino previously held the position of vice president of leasing with RXR Realty, where she served for over 10 years.
During her tenure at RXR, she coordinated the leasing of major redevelopment projects including 75 Rockefeller Plaza and 237 Park Avenue. Ferrentino holds a Bachelor of Science in Marketing Communications from Saint Joseph’s University.

Michael Magner has over 30 years of experience in commercial real estate finance. Most recently he served as Head of US Origination for Natixis. Before joining the firm in 2000, Magner held positions at Prime Capital Funding, CIBC, Smith Barney and Travelers Insurance.
He holds a BS in Finance from the University of Massachusetts.

Andy Taylor has over 20 years of experience in Commercial Mortgage Backed Securities trading and joined Natixis in 2019 as Head of CMBS Americas. Prior to his current role, he held positions at JP Morgan Securities, where he served as Managing Director and CMBS Desk Head, and at Citicorp Securities in New York where he held sales positions in mortgage securities.

At the Crystals at City Center in Las Vegas, he successfully pre-leased space to more than 50 luxury brands, including Louis Vuitton, Christian Dior and many others.
In addition to his U.S. projects, he was integral in creating luxury shopping venues globally, including Studio City, Macau, China; IFC Mall, Seoul, South Korea; and The Mall of San Juan in Puerto Rico.
Prior to joining Odyssey Retail Advisors, Strauss was the executive vice president of leasing for The Howard Hughes Corporation, where he led the company’s retail leasing efforts across the U.S.
He directed the execution of leases from the Seaport District in NYC to Ward Village in Hawaii and diversified the commercial core of the portfolio, seeking out and acquiring world-class tenants.
