
Heitman LLC announced the appointment of Irene Yartey-Onyango as Senior Vice President, Head of Product Strategy & Design.
In the newly-created position, Yartey-Onyango will be responsible for developing and overseeing Heitman’s product design across the globe.
Prior to joining Heitman, Yartey-Onyango held several roles across product management and strategy at Blackrock, most recently holding the title of director, alternatives product manager within the firm’s Strategic Product Management group.
Prior to Blackrock, she also held positions at Morgan Stanley, within its Equity Capital Markets group, and at J.P Morgan Asset Management, in a variety of analyst roles.
Yartey-Onyango is a CFA and CAIA charterholder. She graduated from Bates College with a Bachelor of Science in economics with a mathematics concentration and received an MBA from Northwestern University in finance and management & organizations.
Yartey-Onyango also serves on the board of The Scholarship Academy, a preparatory program that teaches low-income applicants how to navigate the maze of financial aid in order to fund their higher education.

Armstrong Teasdale announced the addition of partner Dale J. Degenshein to the firm’s Financial and Real Estate Services practice group in New York.
Degenshein has more than 30 years of experience in co-operative and condominium matters, both as a litigator and transactional attorney.
She has represented and advised hundreds of co-operatives and condominiums as well as developers on all areas of board governance, construction and contract issues, alterations, license agreements, modernizing governing documents, quality of life issues and fiduciary obligations of board members. Degenshein regularly lectures and writes on topics which impact boards and apartment owners alike.
Prior to joining Armstrong Teasdale, Degenshein was special counsel at Strook & Strook & Lavan.

T. Weiss Realty Corp. announced that Daniella Gonzalez has been promoted to Operations Associate.
Gonzalez joined T. Weiss as an administrative assistant in 2017. She is responsible for handling tenant requests, issues and questions; assisting the .Weiss sales team; coordinating vendor services; new employee training and employee reviews, and managing sales and operations for T. Weiss’ Totus Business Center. Prior to joining T. Weiss, Gonzalez served as Logistics Manager for CCP Solutions in Farmingdale.
Gonzalez received a Bachelor of Arts degree with honors in Kinesiology and Exercise Science from McMaster University in Hamilton, Ontario, and a certificate in Business Management from George Brown College in Toronto.

Turner & Townsend has appointed James Murphy to develop and grow its public and government sector real estate and infrastructure work across the Northeast Corridor and elsewhere around the USA.
Before joining Turner & Townsend, Murphy was Vice President and Regional Business Line Leader for Program Management and Construction Management at AECOM.
His qualifications include 25 years of professional program and construction management and engineering experience; successfully leading projects, programs and regional business lines.
Murphy has worked on multiple programs with the New York City Department of Design & Construction, New York City Housing Authority, the New York State and City Departments of Transportation, the General Services Administration, AT&T Wireless Services and the State University of New York, to name a few.
Prior to AECOM, he worked at URS Corporation and Edwards Kelcey.
He s a Licensed Professional Engineer in the State of New York (PE), a Certified Construction Manager (CCM), a LEED – AP and has an BS and MBA from Manhattan College.

Zetlin & De Chiara LLP partner Jaimee Nardiello has been elected to the American Bar Association’s Forum on Construction Law Governing Committee.
The Forum on Construction Law is the largest organization of construction lawyers in the United States. Its mission is to serve the construction industry through education and leadership while “Building the Best Construction Lawyers.”
Its roughly 6,000 members and associates are drawn from all types of construction practice – law firms, solo practitioners, in-house and government counsel, as well as construction professionals and the public sector.
Nardiello, who focuses her practice on disputes involving construction, contracts, and environmental/energy laws, has served the Forum in various capacities since 2010.
A former recipient of the Forum Diversity Fellowship, she served as co-chair of the Forum’s 2016 Annual Meeting, and as a volunteer developing the construction module for the ACE mentor program.
She will serve a three-year term as a Member of the Governing Committee beginning in the 2019-2020 Bar year.

Larissa Belova has joined CBRE Global Investors as a Senior Director and Deputy Portfolio Manager for one of the firm’s core investment strategies in the Americas.
She will be responsible for portfolio-level oversight of acquisitions, dispositions, and asset management, as well as investor relations and capital raising.
Belova brings 17 years of real estate experience to her role, with expertise in acquisitions, asset and portfolio management, structured finance, capital raising and investor relations.
Prior to joining CBRE Global Investors, she was a Senior Vice President at Thor Equities, where she led global institutional client development and capital raising and structured and executed over $2.5 in transactions of high street retail, office, and mixed-use assets in the United States and Western Europe.
Prior to Thor, she had roles as a Director in the Investment Management Division of Jonathan Rose Companies, Head of Investor Relations at the Praedium Group and a Portfolio Manager of a large pool of industrial, office, retail and ground-leased assets owned by the City of New York while at the New York City Economic Development Corporation.
Belova began her real estate career in 2002 at Lexington Realty Trust, where she eventually oversaw acquisitions for the Eastern half of the United States, executing over $1.5 billion in transactions of office, industrial, retail and specialized assets during her six-year tenure.
Belova is a cum laude graduate of Dartmouth, where she earned a Bachelor of Arts degree in Government and a minor in French.
She also earned a Master of Science degree in Real Estate Development from Columbia University.

Stroock & Stroock & Lavan announced that Michael McCarthy, a real estate lending lawyer, has joined the firm’s national Real Estate Group as a partner in New York. The third partner added to the practice so far in 2019, McCarthy represents commercial lenders and borrowers in connection with mortgage and mezzanine financings.
Further, Michael represents real estate clients in repurchase facilities, loan workouts, restructurings and foreclosures.

Enstoa, Inc. announced the addition of Alejandro Lopez as a Manager in Digital Solutions & Project Management and Diana Malinsky as a Manager in Finance. Alejandro Lopez has nearly a decade of experience within the BIM and Digital Solutions realm.
Prior to joining Enstoa, Lopez was a Digital Technology Consultant at Faithful+Gould, where he developed a BIM framework and strategy for delivering projects within the region.
In addition to being a PMP certified project manager, Lopez is a member of the Chartered Association of Building Engineers, UK.
He holds a Masters degree in Business and Building Engineering from IDESIE Business School in Madrid.
Prior to Enstoa, Diana Malinsky served as a Senior Accountant at Equinox and an Audit Senior at Deloitte, auditing a diverse portfolio of clients.
Most recently, Malinsky was as an Account Manager at Brooklyn-based media company Cycle and marketing agency Laundry Service.
She holds an Accounting Degree from City University of New York-Hunter College.
