Kaufman Organization announced that Ergatta, a health and wellness company known for its flagship product, the Ergatta Rower, has signed a 11,185 s/f lease at 40 West 25th Street.
The company, which gives businesses a new experience through game-based fitness, will occupy the entire ninth floor of the 12-story property in the Flatiron District.
“A recent trend we have been seeing is the attractiveness of spaces in turn-key condition,” said Grant Greenspan, Principal of Kaufman. “40 West 25th Street is a viable example of this trend as the space came fully furnished and was updated in 2018. The convenience of this move-in ready space combine with the short walk to several subway stations makes the building an ideal location for a company returning to the office.”
Kaufman Leasing Company represented the landlord, 40 W 25 LLC. Michael Mathias and Sean Hoffman of Savills represented the tenant in the transaction.
40 West 25th Street is a 12-story building that was constructed in 1913 and renovated in 2018. The building was recently purchased in a joint venture by Kaufman Organization and AXA Insurance. The most recent renovations include updates to the storefront, lobby and façade. With a total of 136,226 square feet of office space, 11,185 square feet is currently available for leasing.
Located on West 25th Street, between Sixth Avenue and Broadway, 40 West 25th Street is based in the heart of the Flatiron District.
