The Moinian Group has signed a ten-year lease with the Wedding Atelier at its 72 Madison Avenue property in Midtown South.
The bridal salon will occupy 5,000 s/f, the entire fourth floor when it opens this fall.
One of the top bridal salons in the country, Wedding Atelier is relocating its executive offices and private showroom from 103 Fifth Avenue.
The exclusive, appointment-only salon will showcase gorgeous couture wedding dresses that Wedding Atelier’s owner has hand-selected from top designers around the world.
“The new location at 72 Madison Avenue is a perfect fit for this well-known bridal salon,” said Isabelle Sedghi, vice president of Commercial Leasing at The Moinian Group. “The high ceilings, wood floors, and full-floor identity were a huge plus for them.”
The lease brings 72 Madison Avenue to 100 percent occupancy. Wedding Atelier will join aroster of tenants that includes Avenue Magazine, Monique Lhuillier, Laura Davidson PR, and Moda Operandi.
The Moinian Group has owned, managed, and leased 72 Madison Avenue for the past 30 years. Today’s its loft style full-floor spaces with exposed ceilings and operable are coveted in the market.
In the latest lease, Sedghi represented the landlord and Steve Bodden, of Sanchez Bodden Lerner, represented the tenant.
