T.F. Cornerstone has signed two leases for over $100 psf at Carnegie Hall Tower in recent weeks, sources say, and a third triple-digit deal is in the works.

The Wendel Group, a French private equity firm, has taken approximately 5,000 s/f on the 55th floor of the 60-story tower for ten years. Asking rent was $110.
Parkview International also renewed its lease for the entire 9,000 s/f 58th floor for a ten-year term. Asking rents were $120 psf.
Matt Leon of Newmark Grubb Knight Frank and Palmer “Chip” Sealy of T.F. Cornerstone represented the landlord in the deals. Marc Miller of Murray Hill Properties represented the Wendell Group and Silvio Petriello of CBRE represented Parkview International. None of the brokers could be reached for comment.
The deals indicated a continuing good year for high-end leasing. In July, Cushman & Wakefield reported that the city had already seen a total of 36 deals signed at over $100 psf so far in 2013. Average Class A asking rent in Midtown was $73.63 at the end of last quarter, the highest it’s been since 2009.
