Ted Moudis Associates Completes Renovation of monday.com’s New North American Headquarters

Ted Moudis Associates (TMA), a leading architectural interiors firm specializing in workplace solutions, has announced the completion of the newly renovated North American headquarters of monday.com, a work operating system (Work OS) where organizations of any size can create the tools and processes they need to manage every aspect of their work. Tasked with the interior design and partial renovation of four floors, TMA provided an expansive upgrade of finishes, including furniture selection and staging services with the goal to create a residential/hospitality feel in the space that would welcome back employees to the office.

Located at 225 Park Avenue South, the 100,000-square-foot workplace tripled monday.com’s footprint in New York City compared to its previous office and will accommodate more than 600 open workstations. The space is designed to be an extension of the local team and region, both aesthetically and functionally, and will host an environment similar to monday.com’s Israeli headquarters in which work and play types are seamlessly integrated into the design.

“Working closely with monday.com Workplace Design team, led by Keren Reznik, we gradually understood the monday design vibe, and therefore our primary goal was to create a space where team members can engage, relax and collaborate freely, accommodating a diverse range of work styles,” said Jeff Knoll, Studio Design Principal at Ted Moudis Associates. “Providing the utmost flexibility and enhanced atmosphere, TMA successfully delivered a truly special environment.”

To evoke a “resimercial” and hospitality feel, TMA incorporated a warm, neutral and inviting color palette along with a mixture of textures and patterns that give the space an eclectic, welcoming atmosphere. Furniture and finish selections throughout complement a comforting aura. Hardwood flooring and residential-style rugs are intermixed throughout the space while cozy lounge chairs and barstools in public areas provide familiarity and comfort.

The design efforts resulted in a variety of concept rooms in which the staff can relax and socialize. They also include local and approachable art, versatile workspaces and various options for collaboration from conference rooms to double or single phone booths for taking calls.

“This office is truly an investment in our people,” said Mike Lamm, VP of People, North America, monday.com. “We are so excited to welcome our employees back to a space that will invite even more collaboration and community for our teams while also continuing to provide the flexibility they need to be successful. Our team’s feedback is woven into every aspect of this new space from the location, to the building, to the design and beyond. The space signifies not only where we are right now, but where we are going in the future.”
