Interior design start-up, Homepolish, has signed a 10-year lease for 11,000 s/f at MJ Orbach Associate’s 27 West 24th Street.
The Kaufman Organization,’s Aron Orbach and Ian Norris represented the landlord. Elie Reiss of Skylight Leasing represented the tenant. Asking rent was in the high-$60’s per square foot range.
Homepolish has shaken up the interior design industry by providing easy access to top interior designers at an affordable price point.
Relocating from 48 West 25th Street in order to accommodate the company’s growth, Homepolish will use its new full-floor at 27W24 as a high-end showroom and executive offices. The space has glass fronted offices, conference rooms, private call rooms and a large bullpen area. The classic loft office has hardwood floors, high ceilings and modern amenities.
“It is a true testament to the appeal of the building that a service that a design service has chosen to lease at 27W24,” said Norris.
“27W24, which has completed a multi-million dollar capital improvement program, is the perfect space for innovative startups such as Homepolish to continue to thrive in.”
As part of its repositioning, Orbach renovated the building’s facade, upgraded the lobby and installed state-of-the-art security .
