Siderow growing business

The Siderow Organization, a residential and commercial real estate brokerage, announced that recent expansion and expected growth have prompted the partners to form new divisions within the company.

Founded in 2008, The Siderow Organization will now have two new and separate entities within it: Siderow Commercial Group and Siderow Residential Group, which grew through a 2014 merger with Atlas New York.

The brokerage is owned and managed by co-founders Brad Siderow and Joshua Arcus, and Lauren Weiner, who founded Atlas New York and joined as a partner this year.

Between them, they have 45 years experience, are responsible for overseeing the sale and rental of over $2 billion dollars of real estate and represent over $40 million in exclusive listings.

Within the first quarter of conception, Siderow Residential Group has grown 50 percent in size and earnings, and plans to keep expanding – in deal count, and the number and caliber of agents.

SRG also is expanding its foreign investment arm, a growth area that has seen considerable activity within the firm in recent years, and is expected to become a large portion of future business.

Despite being founded during The Great Recession that hit the NYC real estate industry particularly hard, The Siderow Organization has grown from solely the two founders in 2008, to more than 20 agents in the first quarter of 2014.
