Showroom showstopper

432 Park Avenue

Antique and custom carpet company Beauvais Carpets has leased an 18,342 s/f showrooms space at 432 Park Avenue, the sixth-tallest building in the US.

Cushman & Wakefield arranged a 10 year lease at 36 East 57th Street, which is at the base of the historic property. The carpet company will occupy the entire second floor.

Cushman & Wakefield’s Matthew Ball represented Beauvais Carpets, while the landlord was represented by Paul Amrich, Patrice Meagher and Neil King of CBRE.

“Securing a showroom space at the base of this historic building is a huge win for Beauvais Carpets,” said Ball. “Sitting on Billionaires’ Row, the tenant is well-positioned to showcase its luxury goods to Manhattan’s wealthiest individuals who frequent retailers in and near this property.”

36 East 57th Street is located between Madison and Park Avenues. Beauvais Carpets space has an open floor plan with no columns and 123 ft. floor-to-ceiling glass fronts.
